  1. I could watch him break Gainey's ankles on a loop all day.

  2. Pleasant surprise but I would assume this must mean a pending Harris retirement or Oliviera signing elsewhere.

  3. Farhan is doing his best to create a feeling of animosity. Such bullshit I am not wanting to see Harris in another uniform.

  4. I remember, back in the day, when we got all concerned about Collaros leaving. Those were good times.

  5. I absolutely REFUSE to believe the Bombers organization lets him play in another uniform. He needs to retire a Bombers player and if you can keep him in the organization somehow after that, even better. But it seems unconscionable to me, that Harris finishes his career in another uniform. He's the face of the ******* franchise!

You already have the Trump era in Alberta and the rest of Canada is watching. That's why a drift further right SHOULD prevent them from governing federally.

  10. "Not being valued the same"? He missed a month and a half and started the West Final. He is one of the most popular Bombers of all time. The city/fan base loves Andrew Harris, his name will be on the Ring of Honour. He is probably being asked to leave some money on the table just like every other guy because of the B2B Cups. It isn't like he doesn't see that. No. I don't think there is any chance.

  11. Wynn truly is just a POS. Always doing that spin/twist play and then pretending he’s innocent.

  12. Harris is as much a part of the turn around of this organization as anyone, and we just can not let him walk away. I feel like he's a cornerstone of the whole "Bombers Culture" thing that everyone speaks so highly of, and if we lost that, the whole thing starts to wobble....it's concerning.

They need Quebec too. Not necessarily to vote Conservative but to NOT vote Liberal. Now you're moving the goalposts. Just press a little on the argument and everything falls apart.

Justinflation? lol. He's really got into your heads. Some kind of weird obsession. Have you bothered to check the facts on this, or is it just easier to repeat whatever you hear? Since the start of the pandemic, inflation in the US has been consistently higher than inflation in Canada. Guess what? The gap is growing too. US inflation running at 7% while we are at 4.8%. Or is Trudeau so all-powerful and evil that he is controlling US inflation as well. The interesting thing about the CPC is facts don't matter as long as you are louder and point the finger more intensely at someone else.

I suspect that many relatively sane CPC MPs and their followers are willing to countenance a far-right leader (and all the luddite policies) so long as it means that the Liberals lose. This, essentially means sacrificing principles for a shot at power. The GOP headed in that direction some 30 years ago, and look where that took them.

  19. The convoy went to Ottawa to oust the PM. Got Scheer instead, the only leader to meet with them. And the guy millions of Canadians supposedly despise or hate, and who was “just not ready”, has now seen the backs of 3 Conservative leaders during his tenure.

I guess you have to ask yourself if you still identify with the party. The party has left many people, not the other way around. But, soon, the people will leave the party. You just need to look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself, how low can they go? They just rejected it climate change and want to pretend everything will be okay. They've been anti-science for at least two generations now. And, it's playing itself out in the pandemic, ignoring science.

The CPC has to embrace climate change policy in a meaningful way to have any chance at governing federally and their base (and donors) won't let them do that. There is no leadership material in that stable right now that would appeal to both the base and swing voters.

  22. The "two year extension" is the most intriguing part for me. Obviously, no contracts are guaranteed but I doubt Walters would give him two years if they didn't expect him to be here for two years.

  24. I all along said I expect all them back...I see Harris coming back on a freakishly friendly team deal...reduced role/hybrid role....and it not JA didnt get...or wouldnt have got good offers...He loves it here...team loves him...and he has become a dynamite ST guy and shown he can lug the rock, and Brady O is the eventual heir apparent...but he doesn't command big $$ yet....he will follow the JA trajectory contract wise, but eventually eclipse Johnny...awesome signing, and sign

  26. All of his business is in town and he's leaning on his name to build it. The academy would be fine without him but it thrives with him here. Plus he has his fingers in other pies too. I think Harris is a full partner in this deal. I think he's been working with Walters. Just my opinion based on how he and the team operate.

  27. Sayles had great stats .and was very effective. I also assume they will make stove the best offer they can...and see where it stands...all we can do...hope he back...cause if he is we will be lights out again ..even without the way this shaking out we are gonna be anyway. Maybe we can steal micah Johnson cheaper than stove...now wouldn't that piss off our green neighbors

  32. Rasheed is the heart & soul of our receiving corps. He makes that whole group better. So, we have Woli, Demski & Bailey back. I hope Lawler is back but I'm not holding my breath. Augustine is better than Oliveira. He's more explosive & has that classic top gear that you see a lot of running backs that are successful have.

But, you're looking at this from the 2004 CPC view, not the view of the PCs when the Reform branched off. That's where they are headed. I have no doubt. Maybe, in time, they'll come back together and head back to the middle but today, they are in the process of tearing themselves apart. This is same as the end of the Mulroney years. But, Harper is Mulroney this time and the breakup is taking longer.

We can dismiss these people as crazies, but I am absolutely terrified there's enough of them to get elected, as Trump did south of us. Don't dismiss them....

  36. Harper managed to win 3 elections and had a majority in 2011 with a slightly higher percentage of the vote than JT got for his majority in 2015. Given how crazy many members of that party seem to be, the fact that he was able to hold that party together and hold power for 10 years might just show he's a genius.

  37. Yeah, I think it was @Colin Unger who mentioned Sayles had better production than a lot of "name" guys this year stats wise. I think he is more of a QB pressure guy than a run stopper, but love what Sayles has done so far too.
