Texada has been very good today i was very impressed especially for his experience. Whole secondary played much better today. Kramdi brought back some much needed physicality amongst others. We also used him better than we have all year at S. He wasn’t the deepest man having to pick up hand offs, he was the under man and the wall player like when he played sam. Allowing him to play lanes and lay the body. This is far more traditional assignment for canadian Ss. We also did it while limiting the kelly/ 2 S look. We used that a couple times but mostly to allow kramdi to rush. And 5 or fewer snaps. The coverage was simplified and streamlined allowing dbs to play fast. The front had some good rush packages with 3-5, though that still needs to improve. We saw more of what our D has done best under hall and jy. The pass rush needs work still, disruption was a bit better but actual pass rush too limited. Wil and mac again under performed, especially tony jones. His pass limitations got hidden a bit better by rushing him more, but he’s been struggling to finish plays lately. He might be worn down physically. Smith has been soo damn good though. I’d love to see him flanked by griffin when he’s healthy. same.

I finally had a quiet evening that allowed me to fully watch the game on PVR and rewind and rewatch many of the plays. Whoever said that we are screwed without Zach is a troll and needs to be kick/banned. My god was he awful tonight. NIGHT and DAY difference between him and Harris. Harris had a lot of blitzes and pressures on him and was able to find a hot read and/or get the ball out quickly. Zach is glacially slow on his reads , he had what 4 sacks on him in the first half alone? It feels like the ratio is 5 bad plays for every 1 good play. Lots of lame ducks and passes that are off the mark or thrown a second too late. What the hell is going to happen "if" we are deep in the play offs and he has to play in wind, his passes are already off with good weather. Brown came in and on his 2nd throw he was pressured and he immediately tossed it to Singer for a big gain. That throw alone was better then anything Zach did all night. I think at this point Perkins would outperform Zach. I also did not catch why he left the game? He didn't take a big hit, was it his head? All I know is that without Brady this team would be f''''''''''''''d.

Every time this ref crew makes a call it takes 2 minutes. It’s horrific. The league needs to use replay more effectively if they can’t hire 40 people who can officiate at this level. Get this ******* off the field and massage his leg on the sideline.

Collaros had 2 ints and mustered 10 points in the first half despite the D standing on its head and providing a turnover This collaros glazing does not compute with me. He's still underthrowing balls, running into sacks, not reading the blitz and causing turnovers in/near the red zone

I’m begging him to please please keep rushing four sprinkling in the odd blitz stunt to disrupt mr. qb. It all starts in the trenches, it was a thing of beauty to see TH disrupted for most of the game that makes everyone else’s responsibility more easy to execute.

I love wilson in the booth. keep his ass off social media and give him the job full time. He isn’t sugar coating it on players or refs or even bad calls from pbp. Disrupting TH for most of the game did wonders. You don’t have to always get sacks, just getting him to rush and limiting his line of sight worked great. It was glorious not seeing a three man rush for most of the game. And for the last 7 minutes of the game i was getting error code ex1114 here. Is that code for please stop posting your football ‘insights’?

Brown is fine. I don't think we're going to go on a consistent run with this OC. But one game, any game, could be a big one. He's like the Michael Bishop of offensive scheming/play calling.

Always preferred Michael over Bruce but he'd have to modify his intro a bit... Replace "For the thousands in attendance and millions watching from home" with "For the dozen in attendance and absolutely nobody watching from home". 😅

Younger was talking about how he has to be more plain with new guys starting in the secondary, I think that's the answer there. They're not over complicating things and it works out better.

Zach could be serviceable as a veteran back up making a fraction of what his current salary is. Unless he is playing behind an S-Tier o-line he just doesn't have it anymore. He has guys underneath open , but doesn't have the ability to make a quick read/toss. His only success is doing the Fajardo spin and hope that he has that extra 2 seconds to make a play. Either that or drop back and toss it into a quintuple coverage like his first INT and hope that the receiver makes the play. The majority of his throws are off and many times Wilson was saying the ball was thrown late or a yard behind. Harris at least was throwing it to a place that the receiver has a 50/50 or even a slight shot at getting the ball.

I don't know...the entire offence didn't play well....save for Brady.,....scheme, Zach, Oline...... But the defence today...damn.....where has that play been.....can they keep it up....did they finally put it all together within Youngers schemes?

Collaros is cooked GCN20 aka Luke Wilson. It’s ok to accept your boy ain’t what he used to be. Zach hasn’t been good at all. He’s had 1 good game against Montreal and that’s it really. Has zero mobility and just very inaccurate at times. This O was apparently designed for Zach, it’s been terrible. No brady = no chance for this team. Zach holds the ball so long most the sacks he takes is on him, Dru comes in, pressure, quick throw, big gain to singer. Zach would have been sacked. How anyone can say a dude who threw 2 interceptions but should prob have been 4 maybe 5 was good is crazy to me. Zach tried giving this one away but riders DBs couldn’t catch.

Zach threw for 175, 1 td and 2 picks. while atleast 2 other passes should’ve been picked. Zach has stunk most of the starts he’s had over 2.5 years. Brown beat the rush on his own more that zach did, moved the ball when he needed to and protected the ball. Zach was doing the best to throw the game away when he got hurt. 100%. Wrs are a close 4th tbh.

100 percent. Another one is Ontaria Wilson. He had a rough start to the season before the big breakout against Calgary last year. He was so bad that most teams would have mostly likely cut him. But even if it’s frustrating as fans I’ll give O’Shea credit that he lets his guys work through it, I mean in his defense he sees these guys day after day in practise. He’s patient with the learning curve of a player. Vaval was also another one who has a tough start to his career. With another coach who knows what their professional football career looks like.
