We don’t have 2019 Chris Streveler on this roster. Yeah he was never a great passer, but he used to have the speed and power to be one of the most unique players in the league at the time but hes not that player anymore. Not even close.

I come into each game day with a renewed sense of optimism. I always believe we have at least a chance to win. As I get older, the shittiness of a loss seems to wash away quicker.

I would also suggest to the people finding the negativity unbearable, that they are more than welcome to provide some positive topics to discuss. I'll start - can we celebrate Nic Demski for a minute? He seems to be getting better with age & is on pace for a career season right now (sitting at 882 receiving yards and his current average would have him around 1220 yards after a full season). He's only a few yards behind McInnis (888 yds) for the top Canadian receiver despite the quality of QB'ing we've had this season. Knock on wood that he can stay healthy and keep it going this year.

The way I look at it is that sports can make me happy, but sports is not allowed to make me feel sad or angry or disappointed or whatever for more than a minute or two. Picked up that attitude in 1996, when I was legit depressed for an entire year after both the Jets and Ottawa Rough Riders went away and people were talking about how the Hamilton Snow Bowl might be the last Grey Cup. There's lots of things to be miserable about, don't need to include my hobbies. Nowadays I'm just thankful for every kickoff. Respect to those whose passion for the blue runs deeper, though.

Nice to see Dancing Gabe out there doing his thing. We still remain the gold standard in how to support our BB’s. To be fair, it's only a handful of people who don't know how to "change the channel". I get being frustrated. I get being disappointed. I get wanting change. Posting the same stuff in every thread, ad nauseum, gets REALLY REALLY old. If can take anything positive away from that it's that apathy hasn't set in and these fans are still passionate enough about the Bombers to express themselves.

.......I just turned 80 on June 29th......us boomers are getting a little long in the tooth...BUT I think hanging around on this site helps keep me youthful....Seen many cycles of ups and downs with the BigBlue ....As far as the wins and losses column ...it sure as heck great when we win ...when we lose I get a little dejected but recover quickly and hope to see some light at the end of the tunnel the next game....and just keep on keepin on

I hear you. I just retired in May and turned 80 in July so just enjoying the retirement and while I will always watch every Bomber game I can , and make sure I catch them here in Calgary and when they travel to Edmonton - if they lose I seem to be able to move on rather quickly these days. In the past I took the losses much harder than I do today - After all Life Does Go On! And given I am also a Chicago Bear Fan - I have much more to fret about!😁

Demski's and Oliviera's performances are much more remarkable when you consider how meh the rest of the team is this year.

Demski should be the front runner for league MOC.... He's been incredible.

Streveler completed 5 passes in the first half last game. 2 were to Brady. 1 was on a play Hamilton wasn’t really ready for. The OC ain’t great but I mean Streveler can’t throw a ball so what you expect really. Dude was never throwing for 300. He was 200 or less really. His entire cfl career. His high is 304 in a game and that was in 2018 or 19. Since then he’s averaged well under 200 yards passing per game. While I agree the OC ain’t helping, the argument could be made we win the game last week if Streveler just hands the ball off all game.

Doesn't matter if they do what we want or not, all we're saying is, if they used their roster better they could get more out of their defensive line and improve the defense dramatically. Cfl field is too big to never pressure a qb.

My takeaway is that at 48, I am a young gun.

I used to believe that but I haven't seen anything recently that gives me that confidence. Unlike MOS thinking he still has 2019 Strevy, I don't believe we have the 2019 Trinity.

Literally nobody here thinks everything is alright... But there are some of us who believe we have the right people to fix it.

I don't think anyone thinks everything is alright but I'm of the opinion now that who knows what can happen if they make the playoffs. No team is a world beater this year and just need to get hot at the right time. Just to add to this because I was curious. The 2019 bombers limped into the playoffs with a 2-4 record after the banjo bowl. You never know.

He has said nothing since free agency really. The draft maybe was the last time Walters spoke. Lots of the issues with the team is talent related. There is no talent to replace the current talent with. How is that on O’Shea and not the guys apparently bringing in the talent. There ain’t no game breakers or superstars just chilling on our PR. If there were teams would be like yoink we are taking Adams or woods. But they aren’t so the talent just isn’t there. That’s on Kyle and the scouts.

1 - 90% of this happening, I don't see how they can bring the guy back for a 2nd season in a row. 2 - 50% of this happening. I'd really like to see Wilson be given some real game time to see what we have in him. Throwing him 4 minutes left in a game wont' cut it. Having him play the 3rd quarter last week would of been the smart thing to do. 3 - I'd imagine this year they almost have to sign a few guys. I'm assuming Bryant will retire and they'll have to fill some holes. It would be extremely disappointing if they don't add at least 3 starters. 4 - New GM 25% chance.... new HC I'd say 15% chance. O'Shea has a massive leash. It is disappointing though that for this and last season they almost seem paralyzed at the idea of changes. During our prime years with these guys they had the ability to find multiple guys (mainly on D) who could step in and play right away. Nowdays it feels like they have nothing in the cupboards. No "potential" on the bench who just needs a few more weeks of practice to catch up. Absolutely nothing. 5 - The game day experience continues to be top tier and I don't imagine much of a reduction of fan support at the home games. 6 - I'd say 66% chance of happening... if they make zero changes next season then 2027 will be clean house time.

Finding a way to what exactly? No I'm watching our offense struggle, and become inept after halftime no.matter who is at qb. Collaros better than streveler. Sure but neither one is showering themselves in glory due to other offensive factors

Agreed with lack of pressure.....no rushed passes...no disruption of the QB....all time to throw...DB's will look bad....just way it is And a couple simple changes...who know's the results but you need to try....because why do you have guys hanging around then?....but continuing to do the same thing...thats been failing...who keeps doing that? And really....can it be any worse???

Sorry Goalie, I disagree with this. The DL has been ineffective this year. The DBs had some weak links and are being corrected. There is no pressure - even nominal from the DL. You cannot win when the QB regularly gets 5 steamboats, every down, every game. But the D has not been as much of an issue as the O. Look at our second half points - and look at our number of turnovers. We need something to change - demote Hogan and give Jackson a chance. Make some changes on both sides of the ball, when able - Jake Thomas, a loyal, hard working guy does not have the stones now - he just doesn't. Vaughters and Willie are no longer every down players - good for 50%. Many of the players we brought in as free agents have not worked out, and we have had a rash of injuries - and our QB play has diminished behind an OL that is no longer effective. You cant fix this in a day...but make a few changes and try it out - why are we still running with Ayers at DL? Why are we still forcing Canadian depth into starting positions - when we have not even given our other Canadian depth an opportunity to see how they do (even at 20% reps a game). We love what the mafia has done here - we want them to succeed - but they can't be stubborn and hold fast to what is NOT working - we just want them to show some sort of flexibility.

Collaros was playing some really good football before he got hurt, considering what he had to work with. Consistently under a ton of pressure but was finding a way.

time for ground and pound offence....slide protection....moving line...pulling giiards and Tackles...we were doing that a bit in the beginning...when we actually had a winning record....but went away from it........Bring in another big import bruising back to run with BO who can catch....and pound the ball and take short to intermediate shots when defense creeps.....the deep shot here and there will be there when we set the tone Like running the veer or triple option..thats how you utilize an inferior oline in protection to be succesful...you need an athletic center tho who can move, so Hello Eli...see ya Kolo....he wouldnt be worth snot in that scheme...Eli would tho...be right up Wallace's alley right now, as well as Randolph

The article TSN put up about Collaros dressing is embarassing. Makes me think they used AI given they have the place and time of the game, Strev's starter record this season and the riders record all wrong. Could be more mistakes as well.

Reading this site is pretty tedious. Yes, we have coaching issues, weird personal decisions, bad drafting, and bad scouting. No, we can't turn it around this year with the players and coaches we have. Ch-ch-changes need to be made. The Canadian mafia will make those decisions in the off season as a group.
