I want to see Alexander slice up the Riders, while shouting 6 7 and doing the marbles dance.

In a way I think Hamilton/Bo levi fell into the Lawler trap, hes so good the qb focuses in on him and becomes almost one dimensional. Lawler had more targeted receptions and yards than White, Bridges and Smith combined. Those receivers are too good not to be utilized more

Fitting that BC's D...worst in the league by a long shot...choked the game away. Harris threw 6 passes on the winning drive and not a single one was defended by BC. Duncan-Busby dropped one, the rest were pitch and catch all the way to the endzone.

Hard to call the Bombers a dynasty when there is a good chance Toronto and Montreal both end up with the same amount of cups in the same time period. What a missed opportunity. We should have had 4.

And might I add as the resident toddler around these parts the difference between cheering for and pulling for. Much much different as in I will never cheer for any other team other than the Blue Bombers and the Jets but I may occasionally pull for another team based on how it may help our team and/or my different levels of love or hate for specific players, coaches, fans of other teams etc etc. Once again, thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

Isn't the goal to make someone want to come to Toronto? That would do the opposite.

Benevides might want to follow in the footsteps of Lapo ie moving from coaching to broadcasting. They had those two on together a while back doing a game and got into a debate at half time on how each’s adjustment, MB on D Lapo on O would beat each other. It was quite entertaining.

Another tight race again that came down the end. It's a nice way to end an otherwise disappointing season! Thanks for running this every year Rich!

BLM was awful in the 2nd half of this season. A lot of yards between the 30's and a major struggle to consistently score points.

And a ton of time spent reviewing the play. I was sure it was a catch, but from this angle it should have been overturned.

Maybe MLSE throws in Maple Leaf and Raptor season tickets to sweeten the deal.

Rourke had 2 possessions to get a first down and likely salt away the game. Goes 2 and out. Saskatchewan inexplicably punts with 1:48 left after going 2 and out (even one BC First Down likely leaves too little time for Saskatchewan to march it down the field for a game-winning TD)....but BC goes 2 and out again...this after the running back gets 7 yards on first down. Why not go back to Butler on second down instead of Rourke with a long second and three QB sneak? Foolish playcall by Buck or was it Rourke? First down leaves the Riders with 20 - 30 seconds left even if they get the ball back. Even BC's defense could have likely held them to less than 75 yards in that situation. Instead we get an awful collapse by the Benefeces' defense giving up 73 yards in like 40 seconds and that was the game. Harris outplayed Rourke. Never thought I would say that.

Therein lies the rub: The Riders will score some points. Oulette and their OL did well in the cold yesterday. The cold weather version of Harris is good enough to manage the game. There's no doubt the Als D will give them a rough ride. But, if Alexander is out or playing at 50%, logic says the Riders probably win.

I'd be good with a game similar to the ones we saw yesterday. And hopefully the decisive play will not be a non-catch.

I love a physical, defensive, cold weather battle. So if that happens I’ll be thrilled. Though I think the average cfl fan wants a high scoring action packed offensive shoot out.

Yeah....it'll be great seeing them get trounced and the sorrow wagon being filled with riders ....In order for this to happen the Als need Alexander to be 100 percent....Didn't like the way he was on the limp against Ham....otherwise they are definitely the superior club

In what is likely the final gc played under proper cfl rules/field, here in winnipeg, You’d hope for the most deserving teams the most entertaining game, and the teams for whom this could mean the most. We aren’t getting that, we are getting two of the top teams, also 2 of the most spoiled (up there with us to be fair) and likely the dullest match up. Also, you think people here would cheer for the riders being in the gc?

Yup, No.12 is the real deal ,made a couple plays that made me go ,whoa. Yeah, some questionable clock management cost the Lions. Hell of a game though.

Where did Buck learn clock management? All BC had to do was run run punt and they kill an extra 20 seconds meaning the Riders don't have time to score. Buck calls a pass, Rourke throws the ball away, the clock stops. Riders score with 11 seconds that they shouldn't have had.

Agreed. Selling tickets just let's more crider fans in our building. Im not cheering for anyone. Im cheering against the criders.

I said something similar while watching the game. Hamilton is, in a way, easier to defend, because you know Lawler is the primary option on every play...

Ehhhh that seems like such a loser Manitoban thing to do... Selling your tickets. I don't wanna be the world's biggest Alouettes fan, but I will be next weekend. Will be great to have one last game day experience at the barn. Looking forward to the pre game tailgate as always and celebrating this amazing league one last time before they **** everything up with shitty rules changes. Vive Les Alouettes!!

Riders' secondary did not take their Ritalin this morning... these conference final games have not been track meets but they've been tense and enjoyable to watch.

I honestly can't believe anyone is interested in Kent Austin in a head coach or GM role or that he'd be interested in that job again after his Hamilton stint. Feels like Naylor just listed names he knows when I saw that. Didn't feel overly credible. The only one I actually believe is O'Shea.

Too bad he doesn't have pro level hamstrings.
