Only thing I know about the playoffs is that if Montreal doesn't leapfrog the Ticats and BC slides into the crossover spot, the Lions / Als ESF is gonna be an absolute slobberknocker.

Ticats will lose. We will dress some pr guys and only play starters for a half. Montreal wins. We play Hamilton in Hamilton and win. Alexander gets hurt 1st quarter east finals. We win. Zach is hurt with 10 minutes to go. We up by 13 tho. Strev comes in. Hands it off and runs and we win but he also gets hurt. Wilson starts the grey cup vs BC. Gets hurt. Artopoeous comes in early and goes 20 Of 22 for 300 yards and 4 TDs as we defeat Nathan Rourke and the lions. But Artopoeous is hurt with 3 minutes to go. No other qb roster, Jake Thomas comes in.. goes 4 for 4 for 58 yards and Castillo kicks the winner with zeros on the clock. Bombers 31 lions 28.

Mtl I doubt rests guys as they have a chance to still get first...so they will bring their A game and based on what we saw vs edm...and last week and the riders scrubs...Likely trounce us and its off to the east...Likely for another trouncing...I hope for us to be the first team to come out of the east as the crossover..and win at home as Eastern Champs...but I also not delusional either

So the game is meaningless from our end as we can't pass Calgary and BC. Its the ESF for us. To me, they should sit Zach to keep him healthy. I'd also like to see Shay and Smith gets reps at linebacker. Call me crazy, but it would be nice to see our two high draft picks get actual reps on D.

I think we are one-and-done in the playoffs regardless of who we play and I will be delighted to eat this post for breakfast if we are not.

There were only three left this week johnzo with two strikes and Wanna Be Fan Boy and TBURGESS with four strikes since they can't tie johnzo up this last week he is the winner Congradulations johnzo.

Griffin back would be nice... but the team will likely scratch Woodbey to make room for him... one of the few bright spots from our pitiful 24/25 offseason...

Also when they play at home, PAS has a sunken bowl design which (theoretically) should help mitigate wind conditions. I've often noticed the flags over the concourse blowing in the wind but the flags on the goal posts are hanging limp so it seems to work, at least to a certain extent.

Edmonton is way better than that IMO. I hate the Faj more than most, but with him behind centre they were a WAY better team... Maybe better than us.

WPW always puts on a good show - haven't been to one at the Burt yet but last nights cards was pretty stacked for a local indie show (Mone, Shotzi Blackheart, The Good Brothers, Danhausen, Jodie Threat, Tommy Billington) without having to use "name" guys that are 20 years past their prime.

They are usually well known. It's just you don't cancel a game on spec and always hope the storm will miss. I was a season ticket holder for a long time and when the forecast said T-storms, there were almost always T-Storms, but games are not cancelled until the storm actually hits. I agree, plus he has never played a playoff game. I'll take a newb QB to the playoffs over anyone with experience. It's a different animal in the playoffs.

I wouldn't be surprised to see MTL play their starters for 3Q+ next week. Alexander has missed a lot of time and last week didn't always look like he was on the same page as the WRs.

And get absolutely stomped by Davis Alexander in the first game. Meh. I'd be just fine going through the West.

Bud Grant certainly had a strong point back in the day of weather balloons and getting your weather information based on 24 hour old information through the CBC. Nowadays we have up to the minute forecasting available on the internet. Not the same thing. If the wind is likely to die off during the game, our coaches know it before the coin flip.

I think Montreal will roster their starters but if the TiCats win on Friday (against Ottawa) then Hamilton clinches first place. If thats the case then I could see the Als backups getting more reps.

@DTonOB mentioned that we lost out in any tie scenario that involved Calgary so 4 way or 3 way, it made no difference.

Whew, it's complicated. BC is 2 - 0 vs. Calgary Winnipeg is 2 - 0 vs. B.C.

Losing those exciting plays and still have the same shitty QB play. Basically every starting QB in this league is either 35+ or constantly injured. And half of them are lousy. NFL is honestly mostly a mistake fest too because of how bad the QB's are relative to the athletes on D. Not sure why we're striving to take out the exciting parts of our sport to become that. Market the league better, work on player development. Doesn't matter what the rules are when you have 3 guys in the whole league that can pass.

idk about the official stats but I did see wj get one pass knock down on a second and long. 1 of 11 games this year jake has had no recorded stats lol. Wj had 4 games in a row this year with out a stat. and this would be 2 in a row. I also thought jake was credited with a sack earlier this year. Wj had one big game, but has been dismal much of the year. Imagine how good our D could be with out those two

I don't believe for a second that they couldn't implement more quick release concepts on offense. It starts up front - they do not have the OL to run the O they seem to be stuck on.
