Cody Fajardo is human. The man is sensitive about criticism & it affects him. He's neither a robot without feeelings or evil just because he plays for the Riders, We have some posters here (including myself) who have issues with mental health. We understand what it's like to suffer thru depression, anxiety & self doubt. I can sympathize with Fajardo feeling down about being criticized on social media. As usual, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Fajardo's not as great as some Rider fans would make him out to be but not as bad as some here say he is. To me, Fajardo's an above average qb who with the right personnel around him could qb the Riders to a GC victory. He would be wise to go off social media altogether if he is negatively affected like he appears to be. I know this goes against the grain here but I'll never criticize anyone who is struggling like he was at that presser yesterday.

I always laugh when people say all the Bombers have on offence is a rushing attack. Collaros threw 20 touchdowns this year and nobody else threw 15. Kenny Lawler led the league in receiving.

If Proulx is the ref let's hope there's lots of penalties for 'Amilton

Proulx is my favourite crew bar none. He's a classic "let 'em play" type ref. He's reticent to make penalty calls at all, unless totally obvious. I love that style. Minimize the calls both ways as opposed to affecting the game. Even the blown Williams call is fine. That's not his fault. Think about his position. Toronto should have made the right call and they *****ed it up.

That would suck for the CFL.

FIFY I had a flashback to the 1984 GC and Tyrone Jones stripping the ball from Brock and then Stan Mikawos rumbling down the field for a TD after scooping up the fumble. Wouldn't it be cool if history would repeat itself and Jake Fatboi Thomas takes one to the house after Dane "deer in headlights" Evans gets stripped by one of the Jeffs....I would love to see that. Watching old Jake just givin' er down the field with Needy Banks just bouncing off of him...lol...

Just saw Bailey's TD from the 4th quarter in GC107 and the command centre overturned that pretty quickly to an incomplete pass. Last Sunday, Williams' crappy catch gets upheld by the command centre. Bewildering.

I was worried about the Drake loss to be honest, and well Sayles has solved that worry...dude was really good this year as a rookie...as his stats say, and the play of the defense as a whole..looking forward to what yr 2 has in store for him...excellent find

The quality and depth the OL has now is insane. I havent seen an OL soo good and deep. But now so is running back. And we have arguably 3 elite wrs who are hold overs. They play book has evolved and improved soo much this year. At times we've seen brilliant wrinkles like the quick wr screens vs edm in the first game, or the PA timing routes to demski, or the pa digs to lawler and bailey, the jet motion screen, and in general the best down field passing big play threat we've seen since prime khari to milt. I think sayles is still a great db and I miss having him. But Idk if he could take a spot this year. The dbs have been insane. And again, especially with rose back, the depth is off the charts. The versatility is huge too. Darby would be one of the top couple of Ss in the league, and BA is the best. We are seeing maybe the best version of Biggie ever. Jeffcoat is having a career year, stove is at his best (which is scary good), and we have great depth on the DL too. Kongbo and sayles have been tremendous when given consistent reps. The depth and progress of hold overs is why the canadian mafia are going from a championship winning group, to a dynasty group.

It wasn't even the kid who was heckling them according to the guy who filed the complaint. The ball was intended for him and another guy but, in true Rider fashion, Gainey couldn't even do that properly and nearly smoked the kid instead.

Someone on the TSN panel (I want to say it was Jim Barker) said the Cats should try to shut down the run game and force Collaros to beat them... I just laughed and thought, good luck with that!

Prolix is good because he will sometimes try to explain things a little more to the fans on the mike. Sadly his accent can cause unintentional hilarity. Like the game in Calgary where every time there was a tackle eligible play the player was required to report and the official had to announce it on the PA so the defence could not be tricked. After about five versions of “Calgary number ticksty tree is illegible on display” Bob Irving actually said “Poor Andre” on the broadcast, and the league changed the rule where it did not need to be broadcast any more. I liked the Proulx game where an Alouette got a little too exuberant after a sack and in his celebration bowled over Andre and then looked worried he was going to be flagged. Proulx pops up and says “There is no penalty on the play, it was an accident” barely containing his laughter. Judging by this thread I found not all Ticat fans may be as pleased with the referee selection. My favourite objectionable conduct penalty of all time. Dirt bag Dylan Wynn twists Streveler's ankle, Streveler gets up and screams in his face. Harris busts off a 20 yard run the next play. Bailey gets robbed of a TD in what was 100% more a catch than Williams' "catch" Sunday. I can't ******* wait till Sunday!

Back in 2019 Hamilton posted a video of Brett Favre cheering them on leading up to the the Grey Cup, making it look like he was a fan. But really, it was a cameo... there is a service called cameo where you can pay bored celebrities hundreds of dollars to record personalized messages. So this time around they paid Ice Cube (famous rapper) to leave them a message and the Bombers are trolling them for paying for celebrity shoutouts again. There, I'm not old as dirt yet

A lot of bridges in logic to cross. 1.The NHL and MLB clearly disagree that getting hit with a puck or ball is your fault because they have installed netting around the playing surface. Go tell the parents of the little girl who died in Columbus after getting hit by a puck that it was her fault. 2. This was not a ball that went out of bounds during a live play. Horrible comparison in general. 3. Opposing teams rifling footballs at home fans is a recipe for disaster and can quickly escalate into a major problem. 4. Believing Gainey or Purifoy are not exactly what is being described is hilarious. 5. If the tables were turned and fans were throwing **** these same people would be saying how criminal it is.

Realistically two thing: 1) they need to hope the Bombers shot themselves in the foot and/or force a lot of turnovers... and 2) play a nearly perfect game.... This is an "AND" situation, not "OR" Well if it's against Ted Laurent... I'm not 100% sure the semi wins that battle...

I see no difference between ignoring health restrictions, doctors, infectious disease specialists, pandemic specialists, ......on Covid and me deciding there is no problem with me running stop signs and red lights. I'm a great driver, I have my class 1, why should they be able restrict my freedoms. I'm pretty sure I heard a guy on Facebook said traffic would run much better that way. Some opinions make no sense. If that was my real opinion it doesn't deserve respect. We have rules and regulations to help our society run, for the good of everyone. We have enforcement to enact those rules because some people don't get that.

Jake Ireland was an equal opportunity referee. In other words, he screwed every team equally. He had no favourites. He was just a brutal ref. So, he retired & they rewarded him by making him a replay official so he could keep screwing every team equally.

i agree...we are better than the 2019 team...first 4/5ths of the year, but the last couple games, and the play-offs is when we made that final step, and just continued on...and got even better...and deeper It's crazy to think that from 2 years ago grey cup....we are starting the exact same offence that started save for Speller...but Couture is better, so we are actually a net positive there, and defence..now Rose is back are basically starting I think a better defence...Darby is a stud and was huge for us and him and Maston are basically a wash, and even tho Sayles was great for us, McNichols and Alford I think have been just as good, if not better...this will bode well for us....bigtime

This Bomber team is better than the 2019 Bomber team, although that team was on a great run. This TiCat team is worse than the 2019 TiCat team, although this team is on a bit of a run. How do the TiCats beat the Bombers? You can't expect to the same gifts as the Riders got, so what do you do?

I have no real hate for any current CFL refs. The guy that I couldn't stand was Murray Clark, and he was demoted. He blew so many calls against us and they always seemed to go in favour of the Alouettes. Andre Proulx survived an on field heart attack and came back to keep reffing. That's a true Canadian!

oh ok. Not sure what "straight fire" means but I get the cameo thing now. I've heard of Cameo because I listen to Howard Stern but I didn't know that the Ti-Cats paid Ice Cube to give them a shout out. That's pretty sad.
