  • I liked the part where @SpeedFlex27 quoted himself so he could regale us with his illustrious curling memoir.

  • Whether he comes back to Winnipeg or not, Strev will be a Bombers legend for life, after that playoff run (and all he did within it) and the post championship celebration... Afaic, he is a Bomber for

Holy crap...my bad....you may be right then. lol

I'm not the one who said he would be a bust... but I wouldn't totally disagree... starting his career with the Jets doesn't help his case...

streveler is at last good as geno smith.

I don't know why anyone wastes reps on Flacco.  Sure he's a vet but you have no chance to win with that guy.

If anything they should have White starting and have Streveler running a run heavy package until Wilson is back.

Terrible teams have terrible roster management.

Anyone have any idea if Dee Alford saw any action for the Falcons on Sunday?

Yes, someone posted this yesterday but I can't find the original post.

Couple of tweets I saw about his play.  He ended up grading out as the 4th best defensive player for the Falcons.

....This coffee is strong...

TBH - Kongbo didn't seem terribly impactful in the pass rush last night... I don't think he played himself into a consistent spot on that roster unless guys stay hurt for awhile longer

Kongbo isn’t LT. He’s a guy who will generate some pressures but not a sack monster. His calling card as a pro is being assignment sound, not taking dumb risks and letting the play come to him.  He’s pretty good at pass rushing for a guy whose soo sound in the run game and as a diverse scheme guy. You can line him up in a lot of places and ask him to do a lot of things.

What I saw from Kongbo last night was he looked SMALL... Almost swallowed up by the OL. It almost seemed like Boris Bede vs Big Stan in a 1-on-1...

No knock on Kongbo but he likely a 1 and done down there this yr

I mean he’s a classic nfl tweener just tall. He’s also naturally very wiry and strong.

I mean It’s a more than fair estimate. The real great staying power he has is his coach ability and attitude. They could find a younger long tall de that’s more athletic but not with the pedigree or the ability to fulfill their potential.
