  1. Probably the most intriguing set of prospects we’ve had since TC of 2021. Glad to see the front office isn’t thinking status quo. Finally some roster battles!

  2. So glad someone brought up Keytaon Thompson I think he is a sleeper to stick around! This highlight tape has a ton of him playing wildcat QB and I wonder if Buck wanted this guy because he can do so many different things with the ball in his hands. Fun player to watch I'm excited about him

  3. I think Stanback is completely shot, he's not the same guy as he was 3 - 4 years ago. That is a big drop off.

  5. I've watched Vernon Adams play in Mont......watched him play in B.C. ....I'll be very surprised to see him advance his club to post regular season success this year or anytime in the near future....Highly over rated and is an injury waiting to happen ...In other words the leo's will be waiting a long time for any real post regular season success as long as he's behind centre.....BUT they like him in Van. though

  7. It's interesting to see so many have BC up top. Not sure I understand it. They lost a decent amount of talent on O. Not sure about their defense, but I just don't see them being better than last year.

  10. OK, that is a great lineup.

  11. And grey will be replaced by Eli most likely who has multiple years of experience. Hardly an entry level.

  12. Yep, plus it doesn't matter who they have in the backfield if they refuse to run the ball. It might balance their offense better on paper, but it doesn't mean much until BC shows they're willing to change their play calling.

  13. You think that’s a good job of replacing guys?

  14. If they are it's because 2 days later we end up signing them.

  15. Jets take this one and rest a bunch vs the Nuks …

  16. True, though they have even more reason to go with a good pass pro back which Stan field isn’t. Watching Hamilton and bc consistently go after washed backs is soo odd. They haven’t been punished for not holding him back to date why start now. The difference this year with jeffcoat is we get him for 1/3 less of a season. A lot of opportunity to improve from the guys we moved on from. Dl is one of those spots that’s easy to find high quality imps at too.

  17. You got your wish. I was hoping for some bigger 70/80s names like last year with Cheap Trick however I guess the organizers wanted to keep it Canadian. https://www.burtoncummingstheatre.ca/burtblockparty/

  19. There's exactly one upgrade in that picture and he's coming off 2 Achilles injuries. Again, I don't see it. I want break down every one of these but don't have the time....so I'll stick with one. Stanback isn't the back he once was. And comparing him to Ryhmes is laughable at best in terms of production. That's ignoring that BC regularly ignores the run game. Jeffcoat and grey will be replaced with players who have CFL experience in the Bomber systems. Houston likely as well. Maybe not Bailey...

  20. Jeffcoat is the only real loss. Grey wasn’t a starter. Houston was benched multiple times despite his picks. Walker isn’t really that big of a loss either and Bailey was the 5th receiver.

  24. Bc lost fewer players than we did and did a better job, for now. replacing them. ie lost Betts > Robertson Rhymes> Stanback (giving them more balance) Whitehead .> Mcinnis Edward -Cooper > Ciante Evans Baron > Richardson We were neck and neck with them in the standing most of the year, whether we repeat will depend on our recruiting

So yeah IF he doesn't sign after the end of next year ( or indicates he won't) we trade him like Philly had to with Gauthier. What else can the Jets do?

Oh, so he's still under control for his senior year? Yeah, then it's best if he goes back to Michigan next year. I thought the clock ran out next summer.

  29. The reason why Rivers wont win ROTY is because he is ineligible as he played in an NFL game. Here's a quick list of new signings that have NFL experience (may have missed a player or two): KJ Hill receiver - 21 games Isaiah Coulter receiver - 4 games Larnel Coleman oline - 1 game Terrell Bonds DB - 4 games Chauncey Rivers DE - 5 games

  30. All great picks, and it seems like we’ve got a bumper crop of prospects this year. For me the position battle to watch will be db/wr. We’ve got plenty of openings and it’s likely rookies will fill those spots. 1 starting wr, 1 kr, likely 2 dbs. Here’s a few guys I think will be good watches and could have a big camp. Ronnie brown. 5 11 185lbs dual threat rb who tore up d2. Also damn near made the bucks active roster couple years ago as tcf. Don’t know how he would/could be fit in, but I think he’s gonna go off on camp and pre season. Db terrell bonds has a good chance to take one of the starting db spots. NFL experience, kick cover and kr experience, started in ufl very productive in college. vanterpool at T is a guy to watch in the replacement for bond. Played g and t, very highly regarded in the nfl for a bit, huge streak with out giving up a sack or taking a penalty with great size. lber Michael Ayers, dominated d2 and has prototypical wil size and athleticism Jordan Lewis is another prolific lower level de/wil tweener to watch.

  31. Can't wait for training camp to start. The Big Blue came so close to winning the Cup that it was an absolute tease. We go through this every spring- the impatient waiting, the poring through the signings to see any blue-chip prospects loom, reading through training camp reports and hoping that the deficiencies of last season are addressed. Its a ritual really, but a familiar and welcome one that heralds a new campaign.

  34. Not saying they are any better as a team, but they' ve done a good job of minimizing losses. In comparison we lost Jeffcoat ,Walker, houston, Grey and Bailey which we need to replace with entry level guys. Time will tell.
