Audit the Bank of Canada? This guy has been in gov't before and doesn't know the BOC is audited each year? He must think Cons are morons and he's probably right.

Yeah they don't like that middle eastern brown socialist guy called Jesus, they prefer angry vengeful old testament God. I mean Jesus held some pretty strong views that run very contrary to these evangelical Christian teachings.

Church Is Run By Satan, Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) recently told a far-right Catholic media organization that “Satan’s controlling the church” of Christians who provide aid to undocumented immigrants. The extremist lawmaker, whose website boasts of her “strong Christian faith,” sat down for an interview Thursday with right-wing activist Michael Voris, founder of Church Militant. In a clip from the interview released by the group Right Wing Watch, Voris asked Greene about Catholic organizations in the U.S. that use federal funding to help resettle undocumented immigrants and refugees. “I thought we had a separation of church and state," Greene said in response. “The church is not doing its job, and it’s not adhering to the teachings of Christ, and it’s not adhering to what the word of God says we’re supposed to do and how we’re supposed to live.” She added that Christian groups that say you should take care of migrants are “destroying our laws” and taking advantage of Americans. “Yes, we are supposed to love one another, but their definition of what love one another means, means destroying our laws,” she said. “It means completely perverting what our Constitution says. It means taking unreal advantage of the American taxpayer. And it means pushing a globalist policy on the American people and forcing America to become something that we are not supposed to be.” https://www.huffpost.com/entry/church-satan-marjorie-taylor-greene_n_6269c72fe4b04a9ff8974f2d

3 years at $894,000 = $2.68 million. Heck after taxes, escrow, agent, etc, let's say you have $400,000 -$500,000, that's a pretty good nest egg for the future. If I had the chance, I'd take the $.

8% of energy production is from renewal energy, including hydro electricity. Where do you get 65%? That would be amazing but not happening here. Source: https://www.nrcan.gc.ca/science-and-data/data-and-analysis/energy-data-and-analysis/energy-facts/20061 • Fossil fuels made up 76% of Canada’s TPES in 2019. • Renewable energy sources made up 16.2% of Canada’s TPES in 2019. (TPES = PRODUCTION + IMPORTS - EXPORTS + STOCK CHANGES)

So now the right leaning Washington Examiner reports that Cawthorn could be indicted for insider trading, and supposedly the lingerie photos of him were leaked by GOP staffers. He is getting a lot of bad press just before his primary. Scuttlebutt is that the Republican machine wants him out. Someone did not care for him going public with their cocaine orgy parties, I guess.

  17. I’m not so sure. I think they might want to see what a new voice behind the bench can do for him before they cut bait. And if they are thinking of moving him, it has better be for a good return more than just to shake up the team. Fans that want to scream “tear down and re-build” will be the first to whine when they suddenly realize that a full re-build is a five year undertaking on average in the NHL these days.

His lack of of seeing the bigger picture, by choice or not, makes him an idiot of the short-sighted variety. That's a dangerous game to play, IMO. Especially when he does little more than resort to hyperbole, dog whistles, and outright falsehoods.

Source? report i posted says otherwise. you can calculate emissions s: "the mountain pine beetle outbreak that destroyed over 18 million hectares of B.C. forests and continues to spread into Alberta." canada isnt even on track to make its own weak targets. trudeau just approved new oil field off east coast. horgan full steam ahead with lng. canadians have very high personal emissions. Instead of more oil drilling, where is our offshore wind project? There are none. cheapest energy is solar and winD. By far. We are building nuclear, and carbon capture. nobody else following that path. Nobody. we are laggards.

  33. It's a legit question. Every side in a war will at least twist figures to their benefit. Some blatantly make **** up (weapons of mass destruction as an example ). It doesn't mean a person doesn't recognise a particular side as the aggressor or as responsible for 1,000s of deaths.

  34. I could see them doing the same template as their away jersey with gold instead of white. A wild guess, based off nothing of course. I’d personally like to see an 80s era styled away jersey without the blue shoulders, using the thicker royal collar trim. Using old gold instead of the tannish shade they use now would complete a cool look as well.

If your 'both sides' comment was directed at me, I was merely asking an honest question about how reliable the numbers are. Nothing to do with a value judgment, just that I don't think you can legitimately take data from either side of any conflict without confirmation from elsewhere. My dad's side is Ukrainian btw.

I also remember them complaining about wasteful spending by the NDP, this sounds like a lot of taxpayer money being pissed away AGAIN. Very tired of this government treating taxpayer money like their own spending account. #BetterOffWithRachel

  40. This Ballsy guy is not getting a warm reception from Rider fans from what I'm seeing. On Reddit in particular, Rider fans saying now is a good time to check out other teams broadcasts as this guy is insufferable. He proclaims 'sports nerds ruin sports' when analytics are discussed (like those awesome QB accuracy heat-maps) On Twitter, Derek Taylor himself is implying Michael Ball is a prick by congratulating workplace bullies everywhere in response to Ball's hiring. On top of that he supposedly started his call-in shows last year with 'no covid opinions' only to go off on covid tangents of his own throughout the show. Sounds like a winner to me!

  47. No. My understanding is that he was so good (or popular) on the Wolf morning show that they didn't want to take him off that. As an olive branch, he was given a role within the Riders broadcast. That's my understanding of the situation. Country radio is a small world and we're all friends, to a degree....
