When I lived in Winnipeg I went to a gym where there were two signs in the men's dressing room that read: Please do not sit naked on the couches Please use blow dryers for their intended purposes

Where you are drafted does matter because in theory you're taking guys you believe have the most upside there. And when you're building a roster the you SHOULD do it, is plug in your best Canadians and fill in around them.... for me Smith is a top 3 or 4 canadian on our team based on his play. He should be a lock to start. Meanwhile I don't believe that Cobb or Corcoran are in that top tier of Canadian players on our roster so they should not be starting. It's just that simple.

Apparently the deep thinkers of a coaching staff think our receivers are performing well.

hoping Dru can bring an angle that can push the ball down field, Dru is more athletic with his legs than Zach, hopefully that plays large for tomorrow as Toronto is down Judge, Brady should benefit as well.

Amazing how a single practice turned Dru from "not ready to backup" to "ready to start"!

Start Smith...remove cobb/Corc's..who would complain othrr than osh Smith has shown more than enough now to be given the slot..what more does he have to do really? Jenkins tho would offer more than Haruz..are they trying to say he better than all our national linebackers..Ayers..and Woodbey when he back...highly doubt it. And there been guys here wallowing around with nary a opportunity to show anything.. so why this guy? Surely be glad I wrong and they insert him defensively and he looks like the second coming of Singleton..but id bet my left nut he not in starting lineup anytime soon...if even here past this yr Osh doesn't or rarely does any roster gymnastics to pre plan for transition...he if anything diddles around until no choice or hand is forced This idea we juat adding back end of roster guys so its really insignificant is also garbage...maybe add talent to roster who can contribute and push the guys just ahead of the backend guys..into the new backend guys and get rid of the crap...there's a roster constructing thought...conti rally upgrades and attempts to be better...something that waved bye bye here yrs ago Maybe draft guys as well with legit starting potential...they can play st quite well too..as they develop..instead of guys who only reason being on the roster is cause they play teams..and thats it..and you can't use them outside of that..there's another gem of an idea that said see ya later here as well the past decade

I have to admit i would like to see Singer at that 5th spot..just to see what he could do. Singer and Cobb as backup..could be a decent 5th.

I disagree and here's why.... we have drafted Canadians high at linebacker and receivers we have not. We have some blue chip Canadians at linebacker but not at receiver.... thisnis big picture thinking.... use your Canadians at linebacker where you've spent your draft capital and use Americans at receiver. This is big picture roster usage thinking.

You guys sure like to make the bottom of the roster moves into something more than what they are. SMH. How about we talk about the one roster change that really matters. Dru Brown will be starting and that is the single biggest and most meaningful roster change we have. Is this another OSH blunder? Honestly, 4 years of bitching about who we dress in the 52nd and 53rd roster spot like it really matters. It doesnt. Nothing wrong with getting a look at a new guy. Our LBer crew has not been great. Not sure why everyone is against this move. It's needed. Some small picture thinking going on. Chances are he just plays teams this game as most young guys do in their first game. Dip a toe first, see what his in game compete level is. I get we want another receiver dressed and if we had a veteran that could come on and eat some of Cobb/Corcoran's snaps that would be ideal. Get to work Walters.

What is the point of Hazen? Why would you not add another WR? Can somebody in the media have the balls to ask MOS why he thinks Cobb+Corcoran is actually ok.

I don't see them making changes unless injuries occur. This club does not rotate fresh blood on the game rosters ever.

Monitoring Argo injury reports has been a bit of a ride this week. Earlier in the week Chatfield, Hunter, Picket and Polk were limited or didn't practice. All of them are "full" at practice now. And we yanked Shepley off of the 6-game and he's participating again. Judge will be a big miss for us at WIL. I have no clue how we put another National out there in his absence. The kid from Windsor, Ethan John, may have to go in at Safety, don't think we have a backup for that. I suppose this explains getting Rayam back (LB draftee from 2025, made it to the end of camp this season). Depth Charts for both teams ought to be revealing.

Good to see Kevens getting healthier

First two games of th year, the offense looked incredible. Then we were on bye week. Third game it was okay but the OL was in disarray so it was a struggle but still decent. Then Collaros gets hurt early and we're playing a CIS QB in his first ever game. Let's maybe dial back the Condell Sucks! rhetoric for a moment...

Our OL definitely doesn't suck. Stan is absolutely looking cooked more and more, unfortunately. I wouldn't mind moving Broxton over there and maybe move Stan to the inside... Once Vanterpool is healthy move him to RT maybe? But yes, The 🐐 has definitely seemed like he's a step behind more than a couple times so far this year.

i’m really interested to see how he does in this game. Dare to dream. I worry about brown though too with bryant on the blind side

Is it crazy to dream that this is the game that Dru shines and then wins the starting job and becomes the guy for us for the next many years?

If Herslow is healthy he would look very good in Blue and Gold - How about Shay or Hallett (Shay is a young high draft choice with a ton of potential and Hallett is a veteran decent fill in at Safety.

To play devils advocate this could be the move that allows that...Smith has looked very good in his defensive reps. Making him a full time starter and taking Wilsons job would likely require someone take Smiths ST reps...? Hazen could be getting a chance to show he's capable of doing that. We move on from Wilson....Smith is full time....extra american comes on for Wilson but he's a WR not a LB....

I guess I could've included a little context... pumping his tires for that one game? absolutely... one of the best CFL QB performances we've seen in a while... but the panel was saying things like (to paraphrase) "VA has finally come into his own, this is what we will see week in and week out, he's finally put it all together and figured out defenses, etc."... him having a great game is no surprise, but acting like "he's arrived" just ignores the 10 years he's been playing in this league... as much as I love the GOAT, Big Stan... I've mentioned a few times that I thought it was a mistake not to move from him after signing Broxton...

Maybe those two can re-ignite the Brock Ralph/Aaron Hargreaves chemistry of 2009....lol... Also - I think it's funny that this team had a "Ralph Brock" and a "Brock Ralph" on their roster. I am trying to think of other reverse combos but none come to mind. Poplawski Joe wasn't really a popular name...

Back in my youth the YMCA always had a bunch of naked old men hanging around the change rooms. I would complain to my gf at the time about how they'd sit bare balls on the bench and was then informed that the old ladies were worse. Brown's injury history of late was due to a very poor offensive line in Ottawa. He was pounded mercilessly and often, and here he ought to get way better protection, time and options. Collaros is a much more brittle physical state.

I'd argue not just jerseys, but amongst the worst things ive ever seen period. Along with Mama June in a bathing suit and the naked 80+ year old man that showers naked at the local pool and i just happen to always come around the corner at the exact time that he's bent over washing his lower legs.

Yeah brown had zero protection via a run game...so teams just went on constant attack...well except us as we had no attack I woukdnt be too concerned with injury issue here with BO and our varied use of big sets...especially if we figure out the right combo up front. Injuries happen...and most time its from bad luck...or a guy who plays with the linebacker mentality and gets himself involved in more shots than he needs to..aka dunnigan..strev...ham..Joseph That's not brown's game at all My take tho our team in its current makeup is not a grey cup contender, or favorite. Will we have turned corner and become one post labour day...possible but we need to change how we use the ratio and also an influx of talent in a couple key areas. But doing that in season if not dictated because of injury is like trying to make Osh drink piss...he won't So after labour day and entering the last 3rd of season and we wallowing around in 4th, and have a chance to better ourselves not just this yr but into 2027 we need to take that shot...cause if we dont...we just further in decline and behind a 8 ball scuffling around trying to right things in 2027 TC..and we all know how useless our camps have become and that most spots are predetermined anyway

Believe it or not but there are some Bomber fans on social media that want us to trade Dru Brown to Hamilton. Thinking we could get some kind of haul in starters & draft picks for the guy. We look to be finally getting our QB Room squared away & these yahoos want Brown to be sent packing. Others have said to trade Collaros or Elgersma. We gave up two high draft picks over the next 2 seasons to acquire Brown back. Now these fans want him traded again twice in the same week. I just shake my head sometimes. We probably have the best QB 1, 2 & 3 in the CFL at the moment. The future does look bright down the road. I believe it would be a mistake to deal Brown & I doubt Walters would do that. I've been a Bomber fan for a lot of years & I'm getting Dieter Brock vibes with Elgersma. He could be a very special qb once he gains experience. I'm looking forward to his development in tne years to come. He has almost every box checked off as far as size & arm strength go. Anyway, I thought he played well. he was smart & managed the Bomber offense very well last night. Unlike Tre Ford. The guy may be sensational once he's tutored by both Collaros, Brown & gets meaningful game experience in this league
