  1. Give Morgan Barron more responsibility next year. I believe he’s earned it.

  2. Bryant in 15 Harris in 16 Demski in 18 Biggie in 18 Jefferson in 19 Trade for Collaros in 19 Walters used to be a player in free agency and was willing to make trades and moves such as the above lead to the 2 cup wins and this era of success. The issue to me is keeping some guys too long, less success in the draft and not scouting quite as well.

  5. Walter's approach is totally different than it was decade ago. Back then, he was aggressive in free agency trying to build a contender. He was willing to pay for players & take risks & eventually he accomplished his goal as it paid off with GC wins back to back in 19 & 21.. I don't want to say Walters has become fat & sassy but this isn't the same guy as GM he was even back as recently as 2017-18. He comes across as he doesn't have to fill holes on the team as they'll fix themselves. He hasn't had a great off season in years. Players, coaches, & management leave & it's like the Stamps old mantra, "Next Man Up". Which is all well & good until there's no more Men to step up as the Stamps found out this decade. We've won because we had great depth but you can see that depth is being depleted & getting thinner. He seems to let Osh have total control on the roster, like who plays & who doesn't when our HC needs to be reigned in. As I said, not the same GM as he used to be.

  6. It isn't about necessarily finding the needle in the haystack, it's more about not giving up on looking for it. Doubtful You left about 30 names of suck off the list so I will assume this was your highlight reel of suck.

  9. Clock didn't even start until Rourke threw the ball. What the hell is the point of having something like the Command Centre if you can't fix something that obvious?

  10. MTL could literally interchange MBT and Evans to keep BC’s D off balance with their different skill sets. I’m not letting go employing a 2qb system. I’ll just continue to talk to myself on this one.

  11. Pretty disheartening watching BC and Montreal's receivers fighting for every millimetre after the catch when most of our guys are putting themselves down on the turf and getting no YAC at all.

  13. Not getting Grant back was the biggest fuckup of Walters tenure here. Anyone else we lost/let go there was at least somewhat of an argument for the thought process. With Janarion, the organization just simply blew it.

  14. Garbutt and fox have been real good...and woukd look even better here But no worries we have Jake..and Korn..Scmeck chomping at the bit..experienced Ayers to help take load off...no sense in retaining upside guys who can play..and know the system Yeah...last night was a nice kick to the plums watching them go off...and then watching Sterns...Vaval...and revisiting last yrs return excellence here...at 85k too....super savvy player management They didnt agree on 2...biggie not here only cause he was injured and not gonna be ready....don't kid yourself And osh always has...and always will have his favs and bias towrd players...its happened his whole time here and not for the betterment of team..but .makes him feel all warm and fuzzy I also think he doesn't have the guts and ability to cut ties with players...a bad trait for sure We are vet laden...sending a.few to the unemployment line won't affect anything...and allows other voices to pick up the slack and become leaders from what they learned here

  15. I’ll say it: Bo throws better ball than Zach at this stage of their respective careers. Also .. Lawler is a better receiver than anyone on our current roster.

He became a cheapskate amid these massive profits the team is now reaping... Why? Yeah, we have a veteran team but so what? A GM should still be aggressive even with a veteran team signing free agent players to push the guys already there. So, we sign a veteran free agent who pushes out a player already at that position. So what? I look at that as an improvement. Not just handing a guy like Thomas a starting spot every year. If Thomas is our best & the coaches actually think the players behind aren't as good as he is, then they all need to be swept away. Other teams do that but we don't. There seems to be a few sacred cows on this team with O'Shea.

Lawler, White, Bridges, Smith Philpot, Mack, Rambo, Snead McInnis, Hatcher, Cotty, Berryhill Schoen, Wheatfall, Demski, Clercius I'd put us 4th in this area and suspect most GMs would too.

  18. I don't disagree that his approach isn't the same and I was never arguing that. I argued that he wasn't the cheapskate you made him out to be. He still spends money, it's just mostly internally as he seems to prefer re-signing existing guys over attracting new (potentially younger) talent. He definitely isn't as aggressive in FA as he used to be but the team also wasn't as good so he kinda had to be. If we maintain the status quo , we"ll be back in that situation.

Part of that is nobody likely would have picked him up either...and we sign him first in offseason...like he a priority...we could have left him u signed right up to camp and then if it seemed like he was needed...bring him on...

  20. If you would rather attempt that high of a risk pass (given the time remaining) than entrust your pro kicker with a 48 yarder, you deserve everything you get.

  24. Yeah but it didn't start at the snap. It started when Rourke was in his drop from the replay TSN showed synced up to stadium clock. There's no way a QB could take his drop, throw that pass, have the guy run 5 yards upfield and dive down in less than 3.8 seconds. Technically diving head first he needs Montreal to touch him down too to end the play so he's not down right when he hits the turf. Complete garbage officiating and timekeeping to not fix that.

  25. TSN runs their own clock that won't match the stadium clock exactly.

  29. Hardly anyone is running a 1 QB system well. What do they get, 3 days of 4 hours team period plus game day? Wow...clock malfunction in Montreal. No way that play took less than 3 seconds. How is the command center not fixing this?

  31. No player in the history of pro sports has been found to be betting in his own games, punished, and allowed to return. Pete rose just got reinstated for eligibility to get in the hof since he died. Jontay porter is facing 4-5 years in jail for better on his games and faking injuries to rig his line. No commish or bog has allowed a guy back. They have every reason to instantly decline his application.

  34. 100%. He’s solid in run stopping. Not much in the pass rush. He would be better if he mostly went with adams and Lawson. But he isn’t the fit we need opposite of wj, and wj him self is pretty toast. He can still make plays but he’s soo cheat happy for pass knock downs and beaten down by years of double teams I don’t think he can come back. Sure does. We need air lifts.

The worst thing about BLM's performance is it could tweak Zach's competitive nature, he might damn the torpedoes and attempt to bomb Berlin. Headline: "Collaros throws 7 TD's and 7 interceptions, Bombers lose by 23."

This idea that Zach is still a top teir qb after one good game is hyperbolic. If it were one bad game no one would be talking about Zach losing it but we're going on 2 years now of the truly good games from zach being few and far between.

  41. Zach was decent against BC, Great against Edmonton and lousy versus Calgary. Its concerning because we saw a lot of this last year.

  42. We tossed him away.... It was edm tho...lol....but a 600k QB should be looking more like that every game...then once in a blue moon..and generally against the weak sisters Pretty much...and for 85k we coukda signed him...brutal....Osh prob didn't like him for some reason...so buh bye

  44. And both cases are piss poor coaching decisions...you make changes to better your team anytime...anyway...and before a slide....and our way of only due to injury has us in the mess we in...and the lack of trust in all these other "all number one" guys we apparently have...which is a huge load of ****

  45. I'd love to hear why Jake is still on the team. I know he's the lightning rod and there are a few others who need to go, but he's the poster child to whats wrong with this team. I get culture and it's important but that same culture can go sideways quick when guys who can't perform are given their spots over hungrier more capable players.

  46. Bo can still throw the ball seemingly with very little effort unlike Zach who appears to not be able to throw the deep ball and appears to put all he’s got in those throws. Lawler is gonna hit 2000 yards

  49. Pass pro was really hit or miss. Randolph got whupped with speed a few times. He's still an upgrade in pass pro over lofton, and a side grade in run pro. Dobson was good, but he certainly hasn't lived up to the Desjarlais level of potential he possesses. I think Wallace is more reliable now than Dobson was last year. And with the out side shot at ending up a RT. Every one had bad plays on the OL. Bryant has dropped off a lot. Neuf was goofed on really bad on the play action play. Nearly become a butt tackle. Kola was baaad bad bad, as per usual. Peterson was really good as bradys replacement. Better than augustine was. But bradys ability to consistently churn out yards and hammer through for steady gains is critical to us. Should've been Austin Apodaca. We could'v kept brown, brought back strevy to back him up, and traded zach away for assets. Then used the 2-300k to sign 1-2 impact guys.
