One more VERY Happy Honker Award for the little boy who sang O Canada. Heart disease survivor. Transplant at 4 months old. Personally, the story hits very close to home. Seeing this little guy with his parents had me straight up bawling. Couldn’t be happier for them!

How do people get Ricky Ray out of a QB who came out and ran RPO?

Actually I plan to vote NDP because the PCs have done a terrible job managing healthcare (ER closures/consolidation, the handling of COVID, the increased wait times for medical procedures and a backlog larger then when they took over, denying healthcare professionals a contract for 5-6 years) and education (underfunding education so classes are larger and there are less supports for students with additional needs, not to mention a lack of supports for a growing EAL population and mental health) which are their two main areas of responsibility. I also don't think they've managed public finances well (those education tax rebates are through loans which is going to add nearly a billion to the provinces debt). Additionally I don't like the homophobia and racism displayed by many of their members. Finally I don't like the anti education, anti academic, anti expert comments of many of their elected memebers or those running their campaigns.

I'm not saying pigrome us a guaranteed star... there's a long way between showing good things in preseason to being an every day starter... but he looks to have all the tools and has that explosive play maker ability which is exciting at this point.

If Oliveira is out I make room for Salima over augustine who has been poor this preseason.

Point to consider. ..what u think Piggy would do behind the actual starting online...full compliment of receivers who would have to be be respected.. as well as a starting tailback...I bet just as well as BRown...likely better and also generate a lot more amped up play from the unit as a whole U know damn well our receivers would block the snot outta the other teams #1's if Piggy got out of his pen...just saying...he is playing against for sure other teams backups...for most part...but also with mainly guys who won't be here either...goes both ways

I know it's way too early to say, but Pigrome looks like something special. Touch of Ricky Ray, speed of no quarterback I can remember and the determination of Dunigan/Streveler. Brown might not be number 2 by the end of the season. I think it was Matt Cole (6?) who really jumped out for me with his sure tackling, but I've had quite a few rye's by now. Nice game by Agudosi even though we didn't get to utilize his height.

Pass rush and WIL backer will be concerns coming into the season.

Load up one side with 4 receivers...send them out on intermediate to deep routes...roll.piggy out that way...guys either fall.off their receivers for threat of run...or hold coverage and leave green green grass ...imagine him in space with our crew downfield blocking...tasty indeed

Piggy has work to do....as in learn the game up here...routes...polish his throws...but he can make them...needs reps...def has eyes down field when running....and his running is other level up here from a QB unlike anything I seen up here in decades....closest thing is Tracy Ham...but Piggy runs with more aggression...in open field he runs like a RB...and before people say that will be his demise and become an injury magnate..it's actually the opposite. He almost has a young Mike Vick vibe...not saying he is a Vick clone but similar...and if used right up here and coached up...could be a real asset and cause teams fits...is he taking anyone's job out of the gate? No....could he possibly move up depth chart at some point...yes...is he worth developing ala what we did with Brown? 100%...look forward what we do with him...and when he is on field...there def is heightened oomph in players steps like when Strev was here

Never seen Nelson Greene throw a dot on 2nd and 27 or a perfect fade corner into the end zone. I’m not excited about this kid because he can only run he has a really solid arm as well.

Definitely not going to crap all over Dru Brown for a lackluster preseason performance given what's around him tonight. He's shown all you want to see in a young, developing back-up since he made the time a few years back. As someone mentioned, especially with PiggyT showing what he's shown, we have three QB's who all bring something to the table.
