Going to try going with the two threads again for the off season.    One for Bomber news, one for CFL news.   These threads should be used for general / minor day to day news, tweets, etc.  A catch all for tidbits that people want to share to keep everyone up to date on the goings and comings of the league.

From a sports perspective, days don't get much better than yesterday. Bighill signs a 3 year deal, Chris Jones jilts the Riders after signing an extension (love the irony) and the Jets soundly beat the Vegas Knights who ended the Jets' season last year.  Come on, 2019!!!

Kyle Walters says the #Bombers have agreed to terms with National O-lineman Michael Couture @MCouture59. Couture still needs to put pen to paper, but now he will (assumedly) not hit free agency February 12.

Critical signing, as he enters his fourth CFL season in Winnipeg.

I don't think Bryant is officially under contract yet though...

mere formality if that is true...which i think isn't....he is here this coming year...I know that as a 100% certainty

Just ran in to Adam Bighill at the Tim Hortons on McPhillips. Friendly guy. Guess his offseason job hasn't started yet

Isn't it nice that that's what we are now?  You don't have to look too far back to find a very different situation.

Let's hope this team can get just mean enough when needed to take the cup.

Just saying all this "nicely nice" stuff is great and all..... but I think teams that have a bit f a mean streak tend to go further
