According to CBC radio news, one OPP officer and two JTF4 soldiers have posted support for the occupiers on social media.

Wow again grounds for seeing it from both sides, you know science, social responsibility, we’re in this together 95 percent of us versus a small percentage of self entitlement, muh rights muh freedom, muh rights don’t end at your fears, you can’t mandate me being a good citizen. Makes perfect sense.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has told his caucus he plans on invoking the never-before-used Emergencies Act to give the federal government extra powers to handle the protests across the country, according to sources.

Those sources, who were not authorized to speak publicly, said the prime minister will inform the premiers of his decision this morning.

In a meeting with the Liberal caucus on Monday morning, Trudeau said there were no plans to deploy the military, according to the sources.

The Emergencies Act, which replaced the War Measures Act in the 1980s, defines a national emergency as a temporary "urgent and critical situation" that "seriously endangers the lives, health or safety of Canadians and is of such proportions or nature as to exceed the capacity or authority of a province to deal with it."

Going on week 3 of this garbage, a nation embarrassed by ignorant, privileged, self-interested whiners, law enforcement sitting by mostly idle (some even complicit).

It was only a matter of time and now hands have been forced. I guess this as close to the "oppression and tyranny" those mouth-breathing losers wanted.

Yup, we will feel some guilt, as fascist tactics are employed to cleanse our streets and protect our economy......

Don't know if this has already been posted, but the WPS has heroically leapt into action at the legislature on the weekend, arresting two counter-protesters, who just happened to be aboriginal. Medals will be presented soon.

Statement from WPS:

"No charges were laid during the events. Two individuals were detained under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act for their safety (related to traffic concerns) and were conveyed to a residence where they were turned over to friends."

It only took 4 or 5 cops to surround and drag this individual into the back of a cruiser. A passerby got this image as it happened:

I'm sure the convoy members are all sober as judges and the grounds are drier than Steinbach in the 60's 🙄

BWA-HAHAHA

Just wondering if these donations are taxable?  If the chief instigators such as Tamara Lich and Pat king have to prove accountability to the CRA on the donated funds they've received, it would shine a light on how these funds are being distributed and who is directly profiting.  With over $10 million being donated and very limited expenses, I believe there is some serious grifting going on which needs to be examined closely by the CRA.  They are costing Canada millions in economic damage without paying a penny of the extra costs, there is no way they should be allowed to get away with profiting from the huge mess they've created.  As always the most effect tool in the bag is the financial hammer, hopefully it is used ruthlessly to smash them to bits.

You're making a payment with after tax income. So, the question is can you get a tax receipt and I don't think you can. GoFundMe and GiveSendGo are not registered charities.

is MAGAt Murphy Brown up for election this year too? (that's my nickname for the conservative leader)

It's a provincial election, so all seats in the Manitoba Legislature (all ridings) are included.

But, if you think Tuxedo will vote for anyone but Stefanson, you're deluding yourself.

So Heather doesn't want JT to use the Emergency Measures Act because things are fine in Manitoba. So the Premier is saying its ok that the border is blocked at Emerson and all the stuff downtown is ok. Idiot. Hope people remember this election day.

Predictably, the premiers of Quebec, Manitoba, Saskabush and Alberta have declined federal help. And apparently, 11 individuals at Coutts. Alberta  have been arrested and about a dozen sidearms and long guns  confiscated. Pretty obvious they were looking for a violent confrontation.

Same as Moe and Kenney, Stefanson is a disgrace for a premier. Whatever the feds say or do, do the opposite even if it's nonsense.

And too bad for them that the feds don't need their approval or not. Stupid contrarians.

Conservative leadership candidate Pierre Poilievre appeared on a cryptocurrency podcast hosted by a Bitcoin trader who has promoted COVID-19 conspiracies and compared central banking policies to slavery and Nazi Germany.

Poilievre, who served as the party’s finance critic under Erin O’Toole and is now seeking to be his successor as party leader, appeared on the February 6 episode of the “What is Money?” podcast hosted by Bitcoin trader Robert Breedlove — a self-described “freedom maximalist.”

This is the frontrunner to lead the CPC in the next federal election...?

Kenney said the same thing. Then do something you 2 idiots. Wildpath asked if I'd ever vote Conservative again with the right leader & the answer is no. Listening to Kenney this morning drone on & on today about Trudeau is like fingernails on a blackboard to me. I can't stand that POS.

The arrests at Coutts is up to 12 now. Among the firearms recovered were multiple sets of body armour, high-capacity ammuntion maagazines and even a machete. Nothing to see here. Move along now.

The following is a series of quotes from the premiers of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta as well as CPC members of parliament about the weapons and combat materiel:

And if that happened they would claim self defence aka rittenhouse. Joke.
