Holy ****, were not screwing around this year, sign Ceresna and thats a serious roster. Upgrades everywhere we needed desperately, Walters wasn't ******* around this time.

With the new window, this happened last year as well. Announcements by the respective teams came on the first day of free agency on February 10th. Okay, I'll say it. I'll eat crow. By far, Walters has won the off season. He's hit a home run after home run this entire off season.. He's no longer a bridesmaid but the bride. The Old Walters is back.... errr... the Young Walters. I'm lovin' it. Now, all I ask is my kingdom for a big interior DL to pay the zero & 1 technique. A run stopper. A disruptor. Someone to create chaos inside like Stove did.

Never thought of that too...could actually use that this yr and Stan could be a good candidate...tho I fully expect him as a starter Ceresna gonna wanna establish himself again and I expect he will...not concerned with a meniscus injury sustained in first half of last yr Slay the draft now...we cooking And its gonna be Hella tough for a newbie to Crack the secondary...but I like that problem Solid...and we will have Woodbey and Griffin all over the field just making plays

Getting moxey is crazy too. Cant believe how much we spent on the secondary. For the first time in longer than I can remember, we will go into camp with a fully established secondary. Not only that, but we got more bodies than spots by a decent margin. A++ and FA is just beginning, then the draft. He's spent, but this off-season is bulletproof from KW.

Every year a few people on here think the Bombers have a tiny purse while other clubs like Edmonton can go out and sign 5 - 10 starters because somehow they have more money then we do. I politely bring things up to remind those folks that the Blue are able to go out and sign free agents and that the last few years they really sat on their butts. At this point if we sign any one else of note it's pure gravy... it's an A+ off season already.

And 2 moves to the d line. Thomas out and Ceresna in. Both lines will be vastly improved. If you subscribe to the notion that teams are only as good as their lines, you're loving this. Receivers vastly improved with Tim White and Tommy Nield Running back status quo (great) QB. Zach is Zach. He will likely thrive with the overall talent built around him. But it might be nice to get a good backup. Linebackers status quo (should be fine but obviously would be nice to be better) DBs should be just as good if not better with Moxey Special teams we are status quo (good) It should be a great year.

I can’t see signing the best LT in the league and planning to switch him to a new position

I think what’s going to (hopefully) do wonders for Willie is that he’s not gonna be a full time player

Reasonable deal. He made 235 last year. With a rising cap this is a good deal for a guy we desperately need.

So in one off season...we effectively have: Pooched the worst excuse of an O.C in likely decades Dropped our 2 worst starters and added best available DT and fack even John Bonk would been better than Kolo so whoever grabs it in camp is better and our oline is better...as we added the best tackle in league Signed all our must haves and lost nobody who will be missed Grabbed the best Cdn WR available (see ya Corcoran) and one of the 3 top WR...and likely the best one to suit our system...with an OC familiar with him Grabbed a top DB who is in his prime and is a vet and knows the league inside and out Can't argue with what Walters has done....Osh can't fuxkk this up now...can he? And if he does...apple and roadway time cause all the excuses and good will has all but evaporated Lawson gonna thrive learning from Jake...and not Thomas haha Those 2 inside...holy havoc I can see us going after Bissett or Kurly Wurly and if we we do..one of them..Demski..Neild...CLercius...Cobb...more than enough depth to make 3 Canadian WR work

kw pulled out the wallet and killed the off season And it isnt over. For my money, Broxton is the LT no matter what. Hes hands down the best pass blocking tackle in the league. Rando was very good at RT. I think you give Stan a chance at RT, and G. Let the best guy play. Vanterpool was the best imp guard too. Today screams to me, best player plays. The way it should be.

All the 2025 SMS was spent. The question is why didnt Walters allocate more towards starter salaries instead of deciding to carry a larger non-injury taxi squad and also leaving money leftover that was put towards 2026 contracts.
