We won cuz Ottawa couldn't kick a 40 yard FG and Brown overthrew 2 receivers to Allen who was playing centre field.

Fun stat.... Streveler in his career with the Blue has only 2 games with more then 250 yards. Jake Dolegala in one season with the riders had 5 games with more then 250 yards , the next season Shea Patterson with the Riders had 4 games himself with over 250 yards. We cut two of those guys and kept the wrong one.

Yes because Strev and his 3 completions was such a major factor in why they won tonight. Wilson is healthier and at this point a much better runner then Strev. So nothing to lose and everything to gain. Not a single highlight of Strev making a completion.... just highlights of him holding onto the ball getting sacked, running up the gut, throwing a death pass , and a singular good running play. Insanity that they didn't give Wilson at least 2 series to see if he could do anything at all. Veteran qb with proven track records get pulled for playing much better then what Strev did... I'm 100% ready for them to clean house with the O and get rid of O'Shea. I'm ok with Younger and keeping Walters to see if O'Shea was the issue.

I disagree that collaros has looked light years better to be honest. Collaros looks like crap in this offense too, and even when he does look good, the offense is still largely ineffective, but people fall all over themselves to make excuses for it because collaros is infallible because of what happened in 2019 and 2021.

The game? Cause streveler and Oliveira playing bruiser was unlikely to give it away... what would Wilson do? He would be unlikely to have any more success passing than anyone else because of previously noted issues.

All I'm saying is when Brady runs for 2 or 3 on first down they're not going to call a qb draw on 2nd down for collaros so the passing numbers automatically go down. And he had drives end because of drops which were catchable. People are real quick to just **** on Streveler because it's the simple thing to do. Our offense though is fundamentally broken no matter who's at qb. Streveler looked the best as a rookie before coaches decided that he should be a runner who can throw.

Could have also been a poorly designed play call that brought two receivers close together.

anyone who says that there's one weird trick to fix the O doesn't have a lot of credibility with me. We've got an OL that can't keep a clean pocket, no clear WR1, a quarterback with happy feet and a bum knee, plus a rookie OC. Any one of those factors can screw up a play; when you've got em all on the field at once, it's gonna be gross.

Demski loses his streak because of a no talent qb throwing the ball. So unfair.

Honestly Brady was great considering everybody in the stadium knew who was getting the ball on first down. He had some very tough runs against a good run defense.

1 vaval, no win with out him. 2 Allen, no win with out him either. monster performance 3 brady. some how guts out 100 rushing in a game with 3 completions hh ayers forced fumble just before half to get us a fg Turds, mos, hogan, lil chris, and jake.

We need to change our name to the "Winnipeg Rugby Club", as we don't do forward passes. The good news is that Strev only has to play until 2095 to break Calvillo's passing record.

Yesterday, we threw the ball a total of 8 times, we had 3 completions (one of which was a forward 5 inch toss to Dillon Mitchell) and an interception. Why? Two reasons. Our OC sucks, and our QB doesn't threaten any defence with his arm. Ottawa took the only throws Strev can consistently make away (and very simply I might add) because he cannot throw anything outside the hashmarks, to the intermediate and deep zones with any form of consistency. He is an awful passer. There is not getting around that, he should not be a QB in the CFL anymore. He is a gadget player and that's fine if he could successfully do that still but he can't. If we sign him again that GM should immediately lose his job. For those wondering if WIlson can do better? Yes, he can. Two reasons. The First is he couldn't do worse. The second he is an actual QB whose arm you have to respect because he can make every throw on the field. Streveler can't, and never could, but we were able to successfully use him in the past because the D always had to respect his play action. Now they just run blitz him and he is screwed.

I don't understand what people are seeing in Strev as a QB around here either? He is never going to be a quality starter in this league and is barely an acceptable back up. Collaros was a 1000x better than Streveler, however, the offensive system sucks too.

Late to the fray here, but, I’ve been watching this team for over 50 years and I can’t recall a more ugly win than that. QB play, O and D lines have been hurting the team badly all year. Whoever is running this team next year has their work cut out for them.

Killam used to be this happy go lucky young & hip looking STC with the Stamps. Always with a smile on his face. Now, he looks like a serial killer.

The level of crap you say that we see from Collaros is nowhere near the level of crap that we see from Streveler (shown here).

If CS is as bad as you say, why was he even out there? They had 2 other QB’s dressed, yet neither saw the field. How about we blame Osh, he’s the one who named him starter. The coaches have had all season to assess the roster and plan for injuries. If CS is the best they can come up with, that’s on them and the GM.

And this is a guy not far removed from a perennial MOP contender. I'm telling you, both qbs ate being handed a heaping helping of ****.

Dude. Honestly. Collaros is 100 times the qb Streveler is. Tell me what has Streveler done in the cfl since 2019. I mean I admire your admiration for the guy but you are smoking crack. He threw 8 passes and 1 of those 8 was a pick. He completed 3 passes. He threw 1 pick. 3 completions and 1 interception. Like open your eyes. Last week his 2 picks = 14 points against. Dude is a liability throwing the ball. Oh he had 72 yards running tho. Which is 18 more than he had passing. Are you for real. 72 plus 54 = zachs passing numbers at half.

3 of 8 for 54 yards regardless of how you look at it deserves an apple and a road map or maybe just the apple now but if people are being real, if that’s random qb from the past doing that, we demand he’s cut and then they would cut him. Take away what Streveler did 6 7 years ago cuz completely irrelevant today, he should be released. You know the argument could be made we lost last week cuz Streveler threw 2 awful interceptions. This week he only throws 8 times, 1 still a pick and we win and **** the OC. Last week it was **** the OC cuz he let him throw this week it’s **** OC cuz he didn’t. I’m not a hogan fan but it’s obvious he’s trying to make chicken salad out of chicken ****.

on Hogan ... as much as the O smelled like the back of your college refrigerator ... when the chips were down in the fourth quarter we had two long drives for field goals and burned a bunch of clock. Someone called the right plays for us to ice that game. I'll admit that "give it to Brady when leading in the 4th quarter" isn't galaxy brained coaching but at least we didn't outsmart ourselves. Demski missing his catch streak was a big bummer. hilariously he did have one catch but it was for -11 yards and was wiped out by a Neuf holding penalty.

fire hogan, promote jackson. cut kola, replace with eli or wallace and put in vanterpool. hell see if vanterpool can snap to pistol. if zach isn’t gonna be close to 100%, and I don’t think he will be, trade for another back up. Start cycling wrs. shake em up a bit. That might not get the O to where you would hope, certainly not to where you’d hope it would’ve been in the off season. But I think you see massive improvements. better than middle of the pack imo. oc then qb, then ol then wr. and they all need to improve

No I’d include our current QB situation with our starter injured as a huge problem.

There’s not much we can do 14 games into the season but we can admit that Hogan is in over his head. Fire him and let Jarious take over. He’s more than capable with his experience to implement a quick turn around.

Lapo also said Strevy needed to grow a pair and stay in the pocket longer (needs to hold his water a bit longer was the phrase he used) to go through his reads or let the play develop instead of automatically tucking the ball and trying to run.

Hogan needs to go no questions about it. But even in our darkest days when Mike Kelly attempted to run his outdated bizarre scheme.... those qbs still managed to make more then 3 completions. It is time to clean house and make big changes.

I'll take one loss with massive changes (I.e. fire Hogan, playing Wilson, bringing in new guys for both lines) over saying 'F everyone else' and no changes after a terrible win.
