MOS and KW have eight straight 10+ win seasons (with a shot at a 9th), 6 straight WF trips, 5 straight Grey Cup berths with two Grey Cup wins. The team has sold out the first 6 home games with the 7th getting close. Yeah, we're frustrated with both of them but it would be a total surprise if either is let go.

But how motivated would Wilson be to come back to the Peg with his rookie contract vs waiting to see what happens down South? I'd redo his contract and give him a signing bonus to hopefully get him up here ASAP.

It's almost never too late in CFL. Look at the Stamps, this year compared to last year.

As long as Sask stays healthy, they are who they are... They're deserving of their record. The "after Labour Day" thing, recently, has been more about them getting injured. Harris goes down, Yoshi goes down... Various other starters. But if they're healthy, it's a good team everywhere but at PK.... We have every right to expect losses upcoming until we see the Bombers start to fix some problems (secondary, DL push, receiving corps...)

Last week we barely beat the redblacks on a last second FG that shouldn't have happened if they simply Run, Run, Punt on their last 3 plays. This week the Elks beat the redblacks by 10 & didn't need any stupid coaching to do it. Draw your own conclusions.

There’s 2 higher drafted WR’s that are in tough to make the active roster that would be ahead of him in the pecking order. Whether they keep more than 2 on the PR I’m not sure. Also not sure if Wilson would get a PR look from other teams or how long he’d sit around waiting for the opportunity.

I hope we don't rush Schoen in cause we are desperate...cause we likely gonna ruin him...if we didnt already Was apparent after game 2 he wasn't ready...and we kept running him out there until he now needs a brace...he not gonna be Schoen at all again this yr...we facked that right up all to hell...

I'm looking forward to the next two weekends. (I'd be satisfied with a split.) I think that our secondary is finally coming around. Due to injuries and outright poor play by the DBs, the Bombers' braintrust was forced to make changes. I think that Vaval and Allen are "keepers" and Houston, perceived baggage or not, will help solidify things. As for the D-line, I cringe every time I see two Canadians plugging up the middle. I'm hoping that the coaches realize that one Canuck, if they have to, is enough. The receiving core is a sore point. Pray for Schoen to return; Demski to be able to handle more pounding; and Mitchell to wake up?

How many years is it since Sask has won a game after Labour Day? 2 or 3? What was there record at this time last year? What is different that has everyone so sure they willl be for real through the fall? CGY looks tough but haven’t really faced any adversity from injuries yet, we have as good a chance as anyone in getting to the game this year.

Don't look now but the LOLks are figuring some **** out. I hate the Faj more than just about anyone, but he's just experienced enough to not always give the game away. If the other 2/3 of the team can be good, a Faj led offense just has to not be awful and they can win games...

Morgan outperformed my expectations. He made some nice throws downfield. Was expecting a wide side pick six from him tbh, that's a rite of passage for raw CFL QBs. But he looked a little overwhelmed running tempo at the end of the game. We got the win and didn't give up many points ... but I was still troubled by the fact that Morgan had such a clean pocket to operate from.

Lawler was a MASSIVE loss. It cannot be stated enough. Our offence looks completely different if he is here right now because he draws doubles all game or teams try match him up and he burns them. He is literally a game changer. Hollins was available a few weeks ago. This offseason there were a ton of good receivers available We either didn`t try for them or whiffed on them all....including our own Kenny Lawler. Our current receiving corps is just some really bad GMing, Gross incompetence almost.

Subjectively they are a pile of ass. Ehhh, that is actually objectively too.

Why is everyone assuming Schoen won’t be playing on LD. According to Hodge and the FP, he is expected to play.

Even healthy post injury, can't remotely expect him to be the same guy.

I know it will be Tuesday before we hear updates but a few thoughts: 1. I hope they don't rush Schoen back. No medical knowledge but he just has not seemed 100% healthy all year. 2. A WR corps of Wheatfall, Clercius, Corcoran, Mitchell, Cobb and that kid we signed last month is horrible looking on paper and scary af. 3. Walters has dropped the ball on the WR position this year. Even if they had picked up Hollins and say Mayala, we'd be in better shape.
