  1. Yeah, I wish we had a quotable coach like Mike Kelly. Mark my words, no one will ever name a podcast after a Mike O'Shea quote.

  3. Absolutely insane lol I’d much rather play the guy who can barely move than the guy who needs to get the Bomber Boogeyman out of his dreams

  8. Terrifying. I threw out a box of VHS tapes because of that.

  9. Yeah me either. He has played us tough though. Rourke hasn’t ever. Masoli still has that lightning fast release, you can get into a lot of trouble blitzing him, and if he’s still got any thing left he can take what the D gives as well. I’m not sweating Masoli, but I expect us to slap rourke around. I always worry about guys off the bench, if we prep for Masoli that is helpful.

  10. Got my ferry tickets (we live on VI) and game tickets (section 216 row C)! Excited. Want to erase the bad taste from B.C. stadium (from the Grey Cup — if it’s possible the experience was made worse by obnoxious Argo fans behind me)

  11. And it's stupid they don't...what point he trying to prove is a mystery And he yip yaps about everyone here as they give us a chance to win...yet continues to play the walking wounded...so obviously he is lying or full of **** but back it up if u gonna say it Yup...as it's was a poor version of what we could have rostered Arbuckler took what was there..played within himself and their game plan was tailored for him to basically succeed if he was smart about it and patient..and he was

  12. He did exactly what he had to do. Took what they gave him, took a couple chances that worked out and didn't make big time mistakes. His defence did the rest and controlled the game start to finish basically.

  13. We're worrying about Masoli? Oh brother... based on what we saw last week that guy is absolutely cooked.

  14. Masoli couldn't move at all when he came in last week. He took the snap, turned his hips and tried to find someone to throw to quick. Never moved off that line on a single snap when he was out there. I wonder if they'd even start him.

  15. Lol I love that ending, that was one of the best gcs in modern times imo. I have a lot respect for what Masoli can do. And he gets up to play us. Rourke gets down when he faces us.

  16. He wasn’t excellent, but he was solid to good till late. He did wear down some late. think I’d rather us play rourke that Masoli.

  17. Was he really though? The few plays that I did see his names he had free access to the QB and still couldn't make the play.

  18. No on said scared of Masoli, said, rather play rourke. I dont think rourke has a hope of beating us. What's it like as a coach balancing all these new designations... Mos "The good thing about our team is we don't even mess around with it." Well, you can't break the rules, right? Some guys only get so many snaps.. "Yeah, I we don't even venture down that road. So we wouldn't worry about breaking the rules because we're dont even enter into that conversation, never is a long time, but we haven't yet." What do you think about the rules "I don't think about it." Some people have asked if we use the designations and just don't announce it, and debated about it, but here it is from the horse's mouth. We don't use the extended roster flexibility that every other team in the league does. Arbuckles' game would've been better than Zach's usual playoff performance level here, which is very, very sad.

  26. was it last season?... I believe Ham vs Mtl... Hamilton player clearly fumbles the ball... without a shadow of a doubt... somehow the runner is called down and confirmed via replay... that's probably the worst call I've ever seen in the CFL

  31. I bet he won't play...especially if he has to keep pace with a likely revved up ZC....They will prob wanna protect him and his psychie

  32. Arbuckle didn't beat winnipeg in the grey cup, the argos defense did full stop. Offense didn't put **** together all game and gift wrapped a pile of points for the argos.

  34. Yeah, a lot of getting past the sophmore struggles is about mental toughness and desire. Evans never had that, or got it. Dru brown made his bones that way, I think thats a big reason why he should have the best year of the 3 if healthy. I didn't think he played that great, I thought we played and executed that poorly. He was in the perfect situation. If we did every thing the same, I think they would've beaten us with just about any qb with starting experience. Truth. Also a stronger OL. If we had the argos level of coaching/execution, we would've won in a blow out with our roster though.

  35. I wouldn't say excellent...i'll agree he had a few good moments and all they are is the occasionally straight ahead push but you could get that from any DT really...he has no moves...never had hand skills, and no burst or pursuit...so many times he has a push and kinda gets off his guy, but then has nothing left to finish a play...and has zero pursuit or lateral/backside pursuit ability, unless the tippy toeing he does way back of the play once it's wrapped up counts...so why not put a guy in who does that stuff?...As for this "glue" thing.....with all the vets we have on both sides of the ball we have more than enough glue...one less bottle of glue isn't gonna cause the team to swan dive If they feel this need to keep rostering him then maybe 6 to 10 snaps a game would morph his pointless reps into majority good ones...but again...we could do so much better

  36. we were out coached on a couple levels....every loss in the Grey Cup basically was out coached and out rostered People say "Yeah but this player and that player didnt have a good game" but many fail to realize that also comes down to coaching and preparedness...a poor scheme...plan can make a player look like he sucked....Guys cant just go rogue and do their own thing as that would compound it even more As great and key as our coaching has been...It's also failed us big time at the biggest game....3 yrs running in my world is a bit concerning too....hopefully this yr the light went on hmmm...is that a roster issue/decision?....😁 and the far too many times we used him at end...and may as well just fielded 11 guys as that was pointless and didnt help either

  37. Good point that’s why the pbp plus color commentator is such an iconic combination across all sports. The ones who also converse well are the gold standard. like pti on Epsn is peak sports conversation. Tait is fantastic at writing articles that really get to the heart of a persons story. His piece on hardrick years back was incredible, parts of it are still vivid in my mind. It’s different still in conversation.

  41. If Neufeld is injured and struggling to play, there is zero reason not to send him to the IR so he can properly recover. His spot will still be there when he's healthy.
