Whoa, did Matt Dunigan ever expose Jonathan Jennings for the sad excuse of a veteran CFL qb that he is on the pre game show. He showed how he only reads half the field. Throws to the one receiver he locks down on one side of the field while guys are wide open on the other side he never looks at. Dunigan made no excuses for Jennings except to say he is playing badly & he isn't good enough. I'm sure Suitor though will continue to make excuses for the guy whenever he gets the chance. Props to Dunigan for being honest & respecting fans by telling it like it is about Jennings. A big raspberry to Suitor for making excuses about Jennings constantly & treating fans like we are stupid.

Mark F: I love close games when the Bombers aren’t playing... but give me 60-0 for the Bombers every game and I’ll be very happy. I still have nightmares of Lulay coming in the game and our D over and over again almost catching him then him escaping for another first down. But also great BC Place memories of 1990 with Battle’s INTs and Nick Benjamin’s downfield kick coverage (not to mention the last you know what) and 2009 with Fred Reid’s 260 yards they can never stop us feeling.

I guess the difference is that last week BC didn't score any points while the Bombers scored 4 straight TDs. Last year BC did score a TD in the middle of the Bombers 4 TD drives.

I hope it's a Bomber win, but a decent game. And I hope I can stay awake till the end of the game. July last season BC won 45-42 completions attempts yards td int longest, sacks.rating, rushing att, yds, td, long. I recall that Lulay was helped a lot by his receivers in that game. IIRC- we have chased Lulay from a few games before have we not? On the other hand, he has carved up our D. I hope we chase him from the game. Regardless- it's nice to see Lulay back under center- I hope his outing is a good one- just not enough to win though. Great guy, class act.

This is Nichols second game back. He'll find the chemistry with Bowman again.

Suitor & Black leaving TSN football broadcasts would be a huge positive step for the CFL. Both are assclowns & way too comfortable in their roles.

TSN seems to have a policy of being careful in what they say about head shots. Maybe not interested in getting involved in the issue. The league, has no excuse. Their approach is still far too timid. Penalty for head shot should be you're out of the game. plus suspension.

Wally WAS a great coach. Not anymore. I have no idea why he came back this year.

Suitor will be doing the Lions game tomorrow. He'll be slobbering all about Lulay the entire game. The Bombers are just an afterthought to him.

I wouldn't put money on the Bombers winning, but it should be an interesting game. Ginger-snaps will definitely be a problem for the Bombers and the defense is going to have to play even better than last game to win it. Wally is still more of a coach than OShea, Lapo, and Hall combined, so I wouldn't count his team out.

Next year they should allow kickers to call their banks for double points.

Speaking of Congress, here's a tidbit from part 43a of the actual indictment:

I believe the Bucks's contracts expire at the end of December (I think they are strictly ROH contracts). Kenny's contract is with New Japan and expires at the end of January (I believe its the day after Rumble because I joked with him that he should insist it expire the day OF the Rumble just to make the internet explode). If Im New japan & ROH, they HAVE to be trying to lock those guys up ASAP. The longer they dont, the more indication it is that those guys are willing to listen. I'd be surprised if Kenny went though. The opportunity for ROH/New Japan in running MSG is perception. Right now, a bunch of outlets who wanted WWE TV lost out....generally speaking, Networks felt it was WWE or a bust (no alternative, certainly not Impact). The increasing popularity of New Japan in the US can open doors. NJ has a TV deal on AXS, owned by Mark Cuban who has said he wants to see NJ continue to expand. That's a major advocate. Plus, ROH is owned by the very very huge TV company, Sinclair. If a Network or streaming outlet targets wrestling, there really is no alternative to WWE but New Japan/ROH and its not just a minor league alternative anymore. There is huge potential growth. MSG raised their profile big time. A National US deal with Kenny Omega as the face of the TV on a weekly basis has a lot of potential.
