November 21, 20223 yr Too soon? Too many truly painful Grey Cup losses have taken the sting out of yesterday's loss already. Time to look forward while we cope with the recent disappointment. Who do we keep? Who do we let go? Who do we go after? Someone was going to start this thread at some point.

December 13, 20223 yr Grey Cup rematch only happening once (in Wpg), yet another missed opportunity by the league/MLSE to sell tickets in Toronto.

December 13, 20223 yr Hoping for more cheap flights next summer and be a STH again. Had so much fun his past year.
December 13, 20223 yr Quite a balanced schedule at first glance. Ready for this team to go absolutely scorched earth across the league.
December 13, 20223 yr Looking at Edmontons schedule, they may not have a home win until week 12 (Aug 24th)…..that would be like 10,000 days between home wins.
December 13, 20223 yr I find it so absurd in a 9 team league we can’t play a home and away against every team. It still gives us the chance to play a third game against two rivals. Ridiculous.

We play each Western team 3 times and only TO and OTT once.
December 13, 20223 yr I don't mind Thursday's. I end up taking the Friday after the game off of work. It's nice since it does not get in the way with any weekend plans.
December 13, 20223 yr Too many Thursday games. My work is fine with taking the following day off, but will be rough for the Mrs.... I understand why they have the Thursday night games, but it makes it hard for her to enjoy them knowing she's gonna have to drag her ass in the next day.
December 13, 20223 yr I don't mind Thursday games and my wife loves them since it keeps the weekend free. Not going to please everyone regardless of what they do.

December 13, 20223 yr couple things... -I think the Bombers specifically ask for Thursday games in the summer. They love as many home games as possible in the summer. Best atmosphere in the league, bar none, is IGF in the summer. Few places I'd rather be. And the Thursday nighters have done well for them, I think, because it's before people head off to the cottage. -As has been mentioned, I've got no problems with as few eastern games as possible, because we always seem to **** our pants while out east. No idea why, but I'd rather only play them at our house and then play as many West games as possible.

December 13, 20223 yr Overall I like this schedule. One home game looks like I need to miss but no home games while I hope to be away in August. Montreal road game on July 1st is exciting, already sent the wife a note on that one. I wish the game in BC was any Friday but the one before Thanksgiving, might still try and make that one work as I could travel home Saturday and not mess with family dinners. Hmm...

December 13, 20223 yr I hadn't noticed this wrinkle to the sched, but apparently there's a bunch of Sunday night games in an attempt to bring in US audience......
