Looks like the Riders had 1 all star selection, that's 1 to many

I love the CFL but man oh man is this ever amateur hour, I could see why things like this, TSN’s production, terrible scheduling, and horrible marketing (or lack of marketing) hurts the perception of the league and makes it tough to gain new fans.

This is why fans votes should not be done in the first place. Forget the confusion and improper weighting, you are just going to get ballot stuffing and “name recognition” votes. Looks like the league caved to media whining.

Like I said, the idea is so absurd they're lying. 

I don't think anyone really cares about who the all stars are. I don't think it's a big deal but ANYTHING to pile on the commish I guess. 

I think a few of you here care more than most players do about this

Players absolutely care.  It's not just a pride thing either, some players have all-star clauses in their contract so this stuff affects their finances as well.

In general he is dumb, not this specific issue. 

What I really meant was meaningless....that's what I mean......Wholly fubar ...the league looks like putz's....and I really mean that

the only reason the all-stars matter is because of contract bonuses. It's completely unacceptable for the league to have allowed this to happen. If this was the first time that a situation like this had come up, that would be one thing, but the league is seemingly always tripping over themselves.

It matters to the players beyond bonuses.
