There's something off about individuals who really have never had a job outside of politics and who as of April 1st will be making $194500 a year complaining about the cost of living.

LOL at the line about "being used by political opponesnts to hurt out chances of winning across the province" Like they know their batshit insanity is a hindrance but rather than stomp it out they just want to hide it until they have power and then implement it anyway. Good thing Dumbass Dani is too stupid and inept to keep a lid on the crazies. Speaking of Danielle Smith, I saw her damage control on the bombshell from yesterday also amounted to "how DARE you use my own words to make me look bad!" God this United Clown Posse can't **** off soon enough. Need the NDP to win and send them to their own corners again so maybe the crazies can have their crazy party and the sane people can choose between a progressive conservative party and the NDP.

Given the level of evidence required now, I am assuming that what the Cons discussed, when they dined with the the Nazi, was how to overthrow the gov't. It's a pattern because the leader of the party also met with leaders of the KKKonvoy, who's stated goal was to overthrow the gov't an install their own. He brought them donuts and openly supported them. There's a scandal for you and there is real evidence, easily available with photos and their own words.

How... how would the Cons look good? This is some sort of bizarre Fox News level conspiracy theory. The real scandal is the Premier who interfered multiple times into a Crown case and then lied. It's shocking the Smith has not resigned for this. It's criminal and completely undemocratic. An abuse of power seen only in the US before.

  8. I could see her running to replace Heather. Funniest thing is she talks about uniting the MB PCs but she was one of the people who stabbed OToole in the back and forced him out. Also having a convoy supporter as your campaign chair is a bad look. Guess it sells to your base but hurts you like hell in Winnipeg where you trail but 23 points.

I'm glad this event brought attention to foreign interference in our democratic system, whether Chinese, Russian or American entities are attempting to influence our elections and policy decisions, it's far better all are aware of their intent to subvert our process for their own benefit so that it can be blatantly examined and exposed.

Just a reminder that it's not election inference to meet with foreign dignitaries. That should be pretty obvious given that all parties meet with foreign officials on a regular basis. Some even dine with Nazis.

  17. If our coaches feel this is his best route than I fully support it. We have seen a good number of success stories in the CFL of guys flipping sides and yea...your logic is solid as to why. It's all about upside and a too a big degree a player's stated willingness to sit on the PR through development. It really doesn't make a whole lot of sense for us to take a high round OL right now as that's where we would have to put them. Realistically moving Adamson isn't about this year at all. It's a futures move for down the road when Neufeld retires or possibly Adamson shows something at OT....who knows. At the end of the day, the Bombers feel Adamson would be unlikely to make our squad as a DT, this gives him a chance to possibly catch on in a different role.

I wonder if losing Perfetti has hurt Wheeler and the Jets more than we think? Last year we took a bigger nose dive when he got hurt too...but we still should be playing better than this...sad.

  21. With the new scheduling, I could see the Jays winning a bunch more wins this year. Not having to face the AL East gauntlet as much will be a gift to the Yankees, Jays, and Rays this year. I even expect the Orioles to compete for a playoff spot. Varsho should be good. And, freeing up Springer from centrefield should help with his durability.

  22. IF I'm scouting the games and I see a player who's taking plays off and doggin' it, because of their fear of injury.....he gets put in file 13 and referred to as an 'also ran'.......I'm sure most scouts would do the same and are pretty savvy

OMG, the thought of having an open inquiry is absolutely ridiculous, suggested only by those that understand nothing about intelligence and how it's collected. The adults understand this, which is why it's not going to happen. Even PP knows that it's a horrible idea but he'll still call for it because it plays well with CPC/PPC crowd.

  25. Couple of points here. 1) If the player is released (and not using the option window), they can sign whenever they're able to. Kongbo was signed to the Niners about 6-7 weeks after the 2019 Grey Cup (we released him about 10 days after GC). 2) You're not considering that some of these players are signing NFL Futures Contracts (like Kongbo did that 1st year) meaning they won't be available until much later in the year. He signed Jan 1st 2020 but wasn't released until September after getting hurt. 3) I don't think the NFL is looking for players who half-ass it during games and aren't willing to put in full effort. If they are hoping to make it to the show and get that money, that's not the best way to go about it.

  26. Im never against drafting a quality offensive lineman if they are the board still at the rate we lose them to other cfl teams. But if we could get a difference maker on the defensive line that would be ideal. Maybe we can get some more help from the global draft. We'd done better than anyone in this regard and 5 out of the first 10 globals who were invited to the combine are defensive lineman.

  34. If you're being practical he's nothing more than a developmental player on DL. It's not like he's going to make the roster as a DL right away or ever. He has a way better shot at a career and to be an impact player for the Bombers as a OL. This is a pretty well-worn developmental path. Quite a few Blue Bomber HOF members have followed it, even one guy in the Ring of Honour.

I am a full blooded native man with treaty status. FULL STOP. I do not like violence against women. Many of my family, friends, and associates of native bloodline feel the same way. I am sure that his race has a lot to do with many people's perception of him for sure. However, it is ridiculous to suggest that it is the underlying motivator when discussing his past indiscretions. Violence against women is heinous. Are there racists in Manitoba? Yea...I see it and live it everyday man and that sucks for Kinew as well but don't try to play the race card as a reason a lot of people are unwilling to dismiss his past. He has to wear it as he has never adequately been able to convince many of his innocence. Whataboutism is weak as well. Undoubtedly many people will not vote for him solely on the reason of race. Sad but true. Others will object to him based on the nature of his past indiscretions. It is up to Kinew to make believers out of the latter, and so far he has not been very convincing.

  48. I'm really high on Adamson's potential as a guard. Might have read me saying that last year. Walters had a good way of putting it that it gives his career longevity. Want those athletic guys on the offensive side of the line too. I see a tougher version of Chris Greaves. When you have a guy with the hands and feet but not the explosiveness why the hell wouldn't you flip him around? The U of M DL in the upcoming draft is another one who probably has a better shot as a OL, Kornelson.
