I get the Global punter thing since basically all punters are Aussies now....but why we aren't mining NCAA for "Globals" that could be a 8th-9th DL or 7th OL kind of drives me bonkers. There's basically no restrictions on how you sub them into the game. Get some guys who can play at least as good as your worst Canadians in the league.

That's the most entertaining game I've seen all year. VAJ is historically terrible in end-of-game situations, so of course he takes the big sack to put his kicker in a bad spot. But it's the redblacks so of course Paredes hits the kick of his life. The redblacks have lost in ways that have never ever been seen in the CFL before. They were the first team to lose on a 62-yard walk off field goal, first team to lose the 2-point overtime conversion shootout. Maybe they'll lose the first game ever called due to weather...

Those redblack receivers have certainly put up way better numbers that you'd expect from an 0-12 team. I'd welcome any of them onto the Bombers.

Mittagessen Legende He's a German Jake Thomas.

“Sorry to be rude but this is basic stuff” gets roster size wrong

Thats a lot of people sitting out after a bye week.

That already happened in a game between Sask and Mtl a few years ago... so Mtl holds that title

Ottawa has to win eventually right?

2019 legend? Right on the O'Shea wheel house

I know Hansen is (was?) a crowd pleaser but Walters & Osh didn't want him 3 years ago when they let him walk in free agency. Now, he's a cheap alternative to finding someone else who may really help us. Back then, Hansen was still a capable player. We keep signing these older free agents while other teams are finding young players. I think sadly, that gives us a good indication of the level of our scouting dept under McManus.

Hansen still gets props for blowing up those two Hamilton guys in the 2019 Grey Cup but his real heroics were in the Saskatchewan game before that, where he single-handedly stuffed the Rider RB at the goal line. If the Riders had scored they probably would have won that game, and the drought would have kept going....

Hey in 3 more years, Eli will be ready.

I think between games Brady just lives in an infrared bed and emerges for game day.

I don't worry about Brady not practicing. I do worry about Condell developing a game plan that plays to Dru Brown's strengths.

So the best we can do is a 34 year old Global who has sat out all this year? Weak scouting. The CFL doesn't have a 53 man roster, that's the NFL.

Not expecting much out of Hansen. He is a stop gap imo. Probably more valuable as a leader in the room than on the field now.

is there an over/under on the number of nut-punches delivered this weekend?

He's running out of people to blame. Last week, it was the refs, this week it'll be Mother Nature.

If they simply kicked the FG instead of going for it when they were down 7-0, they'd have gone to OT. That's so Ottawa.

Ottawa just keeps finding ways to lose - if their kicker hadn't missed that easy FG, and Dinwiddie hadn't gone for it on 3rd down on the 10 yard line but instead taken the points, Ottawa wins that game. I get that kickers miss sometimes but not taking that easy 3 points was just silly.

Strong prospect for sure. Good hands, the thing that holds them back from being great hands is he doesn't extend or attack the ball. He almost always traps catches into his chest. His tremendous body control and route running lets him maintain leverage on the ball and work his way back to the ball and reduce the chance of DBs knocking the ball down. Quick more then fast for sure, not that twitchy make you miss in a phone booth type but that great 1 cut and run that translates to the cfl soo well. He sure isn't 6'1 or 6'0, but he plays bigger than he is. I expect he has a better chance in the slot with all that room and the waggle. Hansen back is solid. Limited rotational piece and teams upgrade over the end roster canadians. a guy who can eat some reps on the DL would be great but they will probably convert him at to Lber to get him on the roster LOL

According to the CFL transactions page, we've brought back Thiadric Hansen. Also added a global OL to the PR. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nouredin_Nouili

Have we shown the ability to develop one?

Just keep pushing hamilton further down the table, just in case we need that crossover spot...

Wow what a finish. One that we will not see again, once they move the goal posts.
