Both Riders losses have been to the Stamps who have beaten the Bombers three times too, atm they are the top dog in the CFL

But how motivated would Wilson be to come back to the Peg with his rookie contract vs waiting to see what happens down South? I'd redo his contract and give him a signing bonus to hopefully get him up here ASAP.

Yeah he showed up his teammate but that guy was moving to help block the nose while Hardrick was passing a guy off to block air. Dumb and lazy play then with the show of waving his hands around at a teammate when he was the one who ****** up.

Riders 8-2 Bombers 6-4 Bombers need a win if they hope to catch the Riders in the standings. Will the Riders replace Lauther? Trevor Harris took a beating in the Calgary game. Riders' secondary is also banged up. Who will play receiver for the Bombers? Will Schoen play? Demski? Will Ontaria Wilson come back up North this week? Is Houston getting into the line-up?

This is an alarmist statement... the only real area of concern to that extent is receiver and that could be corrected well enough depending on if, when, how effective schoen comes back and maybe Wilson.

Not breaking into the Jets wr core cant leave a lot of options...you'd think....its not exactly a stacked room over there. Hopefully he comes back ASAP!!

It's too bad the CFL doesn't let guys go once the season is done up here. He signs up here and he basically takes himself out of the 2025 NFL season. However large or small the chance of him snagging a PR spot down there is.

The only +500 team (if we're counting that in the dipshit way) Sask has beat is Hamilton twice. And we haven't played Hamilton or Sask yet. Basically Calgary controls their destiny in the West. And either us or Sask sweeping the back to back would allow the winner of those games to control their destiny for at least a home playoff game.

We dont make the schedule, only thing we can say is Stamps are better than us right now. Next two games will tell the story

The reality is that we haven't beaten a +.500 team yet & we play 3 in a row now.

Id add interior dline..we have 2 good pieces...but no depth behind them and we aren't rostering 2 guys who likely help in woods and Bailey Oline Canadian depth is pretty slim Pickens too Our main issue really is coaching and how we use guys...and what appears to be an OC in way over his head and a guy not able to answer things in the moment Funny part of this whole thing is we can kinda control our fate if we smarten up a bit and can get hot and run off a string of 5 or 6 wins in a row continuing this weekend

Sask's secondary is brutal especially if their 4 man rush is handled.

I don't expect to have a top tier team/QB every year, it's not realistic. I do think they will make the playoffs this year.

After the next 3 weeks we will know where we stand compared to teams above .500. I bet it's worse than how we compare to teams below .500.

After a stamp pummelled Harris, and shortly thereafter he was nailed again, he headed for the bench and laid down for a short bit....Looked as though he was trying to hide something, returned to the bench and then was pulled by the head honcho for the last part of the game.....Is that an indication he might be shelved for the next game???..We'll see...I do know one thing IF we lay some licks on him early (if he starts) he could revert back to the Harris that is always in or near the tub, and headed for the infirmary

Our QB is serviceable, and there is some good talent here. We can't expect a first place team every year.

So I'm really looking at guys available to us... and I am fine with adams, Lawson and woods as the basis for the 3 interior guys and now that person is more and more involved i like Jefferson, vaughters and person at the ends. So in terms of can it be patched yeah the pieces I think are there. Just gotta stop trying for force a couple try hards.

But, for example, the Montreal D was not really limited, but the Bombers' O did well. It all depends how you choose to see things.

they did some player appearance things at fsu as soon as nil came in. guys like wilson made 170-200 bucks an hour. i’d bet he made in the 20-30k range, sounds like they worked it pretty well for the early days. Since the cap went up 500k, and we likely came in under the previous cap plus have 6game savings, we should have a pretty good nut to offer wilson. which makes me wonder 1, what’s he worth to get up asap? and what would it take? 200k for 2 years with 100k upfront? with the standard agreement that he can work out and if an nfl team wants to sign him in the off season we let him go. It’s high value for a one year guy, but i think that’d be what it takes to move him quickly.

He needs current game film that may entice another team next year. He's a UDFA early cut with no value to STs..he's not in demand.

There’s 2 higher drafted WR’s that are in tough to make the active roster that would be ahead of him in the pecking order. Whether they keep more than 2 on the PR I’m not sure. Also not sure if Wilson would get a PR look from other teams or how long he’d sit around waiting for the opportunity.
