Our offence with either qb struggles to deal with pressure. We don’t set up well for timing deep shots (we need 5+ second pockets) and we don’t have good quick passing plays. We don’t even attack the mid depth of 15-25 well.
 Outs, crossers, and hooks, with all the targets in the same relative level of depth across the field. over and over again. Defences don’t even get out of their back pedal. They sit and read the qb and rally to the ball, which is constantly short of first down yardage any way.

People were skeptical of the OC hire, nothing seems to have alleviated those concerns

People were skeptical of the QBs also. A dude who has no accuracy coming off a major injury and an injured collaros?? Who would have thought. 
 

Streveler isn’t a starting CFL QB. I’m not sure he’s a capable backup anymore. Right now the guy with the most potential is Artopoeous. Pretty obvious Wilson is just here to dive in to piles. 
 

I could see why they signed Zach. Cuz the guys behind him are terrible. Collaros was at his best when Dru was here pushing him. Now he’s struggling. Prob cuz Streveler and Wilson aren’t pushing him. Dru did. I know Strev is the golden goose here but that was several years ago now and dude has literally done nothing since or before really. People remember he was the starter before Zach right.

Strev has out played Zach this season and has higher upside and has a much smaller salary.    Zach was terrible last season as well.     Zach is pushing himself out of a job.

In the last three games, 28 out of Streveler's 44 completions were for 9 yards or less. Another 5 were for 10-12 yards. I'm not sure that you can be a successful starting QB when almost two thirds of your completions are short passes and 75% are for 12 yards or less.

Ya man passing for 160 yards is really showing Zach. Streveler had 1 good half in the first game. Since then every chance he’s got, he’s sucked. Oh wow he made 1 throw. Dude throws for the length of the field. He’s Matt Nichols but without accuracy cuz both can’t run. You are remembering the Streveler in the fur coat and the grey cup 5 years ago. He’s not that guy anymore. It’s obvious he can’t move and can’t accurately pass a ball over 8 yards.  Zach and Streveler have similar numbers. High completion percentage. Less TDs than picks.  Why you pretending the O did anything against Toronto.

Nichols post injured arm survived on passes like that.

What is Zach's winning % this season compared to Strev?    Zach's salary vs performance has to be the worst in this league this season.    I'd take Strev/Wilson or anyone else over Zach at $600 000.      Zach has had a full season last year and multiple games this year to show that he's done and he isn't coming back... Strev has had 2 starts and won them both.   Why not give him a chance and see what he can do.

Nichols also had a 3-1 TD/INT ratio in 2019, Streveler has thrown more Interceptions than TDs in his two starts. Not the same.

We had the same discussion in 2019 about Streveler and whether he could be a starting QB, nothing has changed. 

BTW in 2019, 8 games started, 1482 passing yards, 7 TD passes, 11 Interceptions, 3-5 record as a starting. Not that much different is it?
