The Argos are going to get raided in FA, and won't be able to do much about it due to SMS restraints. Of course, Mace will be spending to get some of his DL guys so Toronto was going to take a hit there. Gittens is the better player, but Ceresna gives them a stud DL under contract for about the same money and TO can watch Hendrix and Oakman go elsewhere. Not buying the cock and bull that Bluto is floating that Gittens was expendable, but there is a cost associated to a guy like Ceresna and Gittens is coming off a bad injury. You look at this year’s Eagles, they started 10-0 but everyone knew they couldn’t defend, and it would eventually bite them. They got exposed vs San Fran, and then they fell apart. As it’s well known here too, an interior DL is wildly underrated to a good D. I agree. Maybe offence gets more money because it does sell more seats. But man some of our best moves going back to the beginning of the mafia is under valued dl pick ups.
