Don't Look Back - 2022/2023 Bombers Off Season

Too soon?  Too many truly painful Grey Cup losses have taken the sting out of yesterday's loss already.

Time to look forward while we cope with the recent disappointment.

Who do we keep?  Who do we let go?  Who do we go after?

Someone was going to start this thread at some point.

Reggie White jr is an interesting likely cheaper option, I like Dunbar as well.

GMs don't care about a list published by sites like 3DN. They know who & who are the top players.

If Bailey's going to FA, he's looking for any edge he can get.

Hot take. Greg McCrae can do everything Demski does. It’s the potential loss of passport that would be detrimental.

So I didn't want to be the guy to say that.... but you're not exactly wrong. I mean McCrae isn't at demskis level yet but it's the same type of guy just not as polished as a receiver

Ya that's actually not a super hot take at all. Mr McCrae (with a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg...) is definitely an American Demski.... But... The passport.

Is McCrae Demski, though? I'm having troubles remembering him hit and be hit as hard as Demski is when he's running those sweeps or after the catch.

Running sure but the physicality too?

Not the physicality, but faster.

Maybe avoids the hits and doesn't miss as many games, lol?

Demski wasn’t exactly a sure thing at SB/WR before he came here either. Basically did McCrae things in Sask, albeit far more success returning punts.

No receiver in the league better than Demski catching the ball over his shoulder on a broken play and taking it to the house from anywhere on the field.

McCrae can't touch that.

More than that, he is a homeboy, and that resonates with bomber fans. Its a mark of pride for the team management,

Demski: YAC - 238 on 64 receptions (3.72 avg), Five 30+ catches, 10 TD's

And, which of those plays were the broken ones?

Or the over the shoulder catches.  Even Collaros is amazed by Demski's ability for this.  Zach said he started calling him Willie Mays but Nic didn't know who that was. 😂
