The first Preseason game is May 31 .... the regular season starts June 14 ... everything will start to move very quickly now .... I am not used to the CFL in May  but you know what? I am very glad for it

After watching him in the 2017 combine I really thought he would be a first or second round pick. He wasn’t even drafted and got signed by Edmonton and cut early then a short stint with Sask. I’m baffled as I figure he has all the tools, great north south runner with some moves, hits holes quickly and doesn’t dance, excellent blocker and real good pass catching skills out of the backfield. Always thought there may be something I missed maybe with attitude. Hope he works out well here.

 

 

 

If this injury to Nichols is as serious as it sounds, the Bombers season just went up in flames.

Best rookie season since Ricky Ray himself (but without stupid Jason Maas in the way)!

I do think Streveler is for real, I just don't really want to find out this year.

If given the choice, I'd go with the back up over Durrant.  Who else is out there?  Trade for Ray?

If the Bombers are forced to trade for a QB now they will have to give up some serious assets to acquire a decent one.

 

They do have a extra first round pick. Got a weird feeling Trestman May like MBT more than Franklin and he might be available.

But giving a 75 % chance that it’s not a season ending injury.

Even if he is out 5-7 weeks it's not that bad. Better to get hurt early than late.

I’d prefer Adams.  Masoli will throw 30 INTs if he plays a full season.

I can't see Toronto letting go of Franklin ... Vernon Adams seems like the way we'd be going most likely.

Non contact injuries are usually not light ones.

That's how I see things going if it's worst case scenario. I'd definitely make the call to Popp though.

This sucks. Would love for it to be Franklin or Ray. Suspect Adams.
