  1. signed peyton thorne. wow its going to be interesting to watch the qbs in camp. Mich state, auburn, played at good schools. Guy has incredible raw talent and athleticism. Easy smooth arm action with a good release. Very capable runner. He’s not really wired for high volume running. Great upside in a young guy.

  2. he actually runs a really good QB school....and is great with the x's and o's of things....He has got a lot of praise for his work with young QB's....so he would be a pretty good addition to the coaching staff as he rehabs....we gave Thomas a spot and he does pretty much zero in regards to coaching to this point

  4. 100%. Dirty Sanchez was player I absolutely detested and I don't feel like letting that go. 😂

  5. Reminds a bit of kenny lawler. Tremendous hands and ability to catch contested balls win 50/50 and pay the physical price to get big possession catches. He tested a bit better than lawler but i don’t see him running open much. Great body control, positional awareness, and the size to go with it. I love the football iq when his qb breaks the pocket and how he comes back to the ball. How he adapts to our game and if he can get open vs pro dbs are the big questions. Very good prospect for us.

  6. like this...and interesting.....he was available because essentially nobody wanted to have to deal with the 6 game suspension if signed so the way the NFL churns guys over wasnt worth the wait....could be a real good score for us tho Real good in making tough catches...actual hand catcher, and as a big bodied guy actually eats up a lot of space quickly.....kind of guy ZC would thrive with in regards to some his ducks he tends to throw deep now

  7. Too bad about Parker as I believe injuries kept him from being really good. That said given his injury history, I am ok with them moving on. When does Dillon Mitchell get officially released?

  9. “- 0 drops on 88 targets in 2023, great ball skills“ the knock on him is a big slow coming out of the breaks but man if he can master the waggle. Also doesn’t make anybody miss after making the catch. Good be a great endzone target especially starting in 2027 when the endzone is smaller and the goalposts are gone.

  10. If Kramdi makes the tackle, the Lions have time to kick the fg for the win. Obviously doesn’t make him a hero just funny how it worked out. Yeah feel for both Parker and Bonds. Showed lots of promise and had the tools… honestly I wonder how many burns could be attributed to our pathetic d-line use hanging them out to dry.

  11. Looks like the Bombers are bringing this guy back. One of the final cuts last year and spent a month on the PR before "retiring". https://www.bgmsportstrax.com/2025/07/21/winnipeg-blue-bombers-place-offensive-lineman-tyler-elsbury-to-the-retired-list/

  13. No...Kramdi whiffed on it....Parker came from outta nowhere to save a TD being scored to enable us to get there...u got that a wee bit wrong Classic kramdi open field inadequacy..which he still hasn't fixed..if he not diving at ankles..he is whiffing from being deked out..or trying to.be a torpedo and forgetting he has arms for form tackling...if he even posses that skill

  15. I don't mind that he chased the money, careers are short. I do mind him yelling his opinions on the panel. Dude is a big part of what's wrong with the TSN panel.

  16. I'm hoping we give qb's a real chance this year. No more keeping them on the bench until the 2nd last week of the season in garbage time. If Philip Rivers can start in the NFL after 5 years away from the game at the age of 44 with only 1 week of prep... why can't we give real game time to qbs who have been through training camp and months with the club.

  17. Kinda glad to see Parker go. Hurt like 80% of the time and very meh when he was healthy.

  18. Going back over the years and looking back at the hold out names we drafted, that didn't work out, how about the obvious one sitting on the tsn panel Henoc Muamba....We wined and dined the guy and his family...bent over backwards to sign him ,then he did a tour of the CFL AND suddenly signed with Montreal....I still have problems with this guy, whenever I see him mouthing it up on games

  19. This is the feeling I'm getting too with this move. Like "Hey you stepped up when we were in a tight spot, it didn't work out but we don't want to cast you aside because of it"

  21. Parker was never the same after his initial knee injury...before that he was real good....His injury was reason Holm got on the roster as he was beat out for the job....But thats how sports goes...one door closes on ne guy...allows another to step thru

  22. every time I see Milt and Sanchez together on the panel I am hoping just a little bit that Milt pulls a Joe Kapp.

  23. Muamba got better...can tolerate him a bit...Sanchez I like...not sure why many hate on him...is it the hate of Sanchez the player? Milton is good when not told by producers to be the antagonist or whatever it is they directing him to be Kate...lost cause...gets worse as the yrs roll by..she truly thinks its the Kate variety show...she needs to go

  24. I’m hoping we search every corner of the world for talent and have high expectations in how we want to build our lines and how we want them to perform and not use them as hiding spots for average to less than average players. Protect ZC at all costs to let him work, provide BO openings that a guy like me could run thru.

  25. True but in the context of what he’s saying I think he’s right. Finding an American who can play a better guard than Nuefeld at league minimum shouldn’t be difficult in fact we already have vanterpool who can do that.

  27. I thought Muamba got better as the season went on. He started to tone things down & actually made some good points. Still don't like him. Probably never will. I'll take TBurg;s sentence & change it to describe my feelings, "I don't mind him yelling his opinions. I do mind that he chased the dollars selfishly constantly changing teams letting his teammates & fans down". I don't respect Muamba like I do Sanchez or MIlt because of it. Muamba's legacy will always be chasing the money. That CFL tour he had was embarrassing.

  28. Parker made the tackle that stopped the score...wasnt it Holm who whiffed on the tackle that would have allowed a fg?

  29. He was an athlete but never “really” really good. His best play was missing a tackle against BC that ultimately allowed us to advance to the Grey Cup.

  30. Yeah had some Lawler vibes for sure..but bigger more durable body Looks to be able to have use in the short game as well Definitely knows how to use frame to box out defenders..and like he is a hand catcher...mitigates being separated from ball in traffic

  31. Any Corhuskers fans? Jahmal Banks was signed today. Seems like an intriguing signing as he's 6-4 and was suspended by the NFL earlier this year for some reason.

  32. Yea it's like they're 'coached' before going on camera, 'okay everyone remember bring that cringe level way up, be yelly, and most importantly don't be yourself and authentic, contrive every word and movement!' Action!

  35. Look what happened in Detroit with DK Metcalf. I believe that if you buy a ticket & mess with a player on the field as in instigating a conflict then that ticket should give the NFL the right to prosecute or fine someone. We don't know what was said between the two but the fan put on a long blue wig to cover his face. So, whatever he said, it wasn't going to be good. I saw a video after the incident where the fan was screaming but not wearing his wig. A 25000 fine or 3 months in jail for harrassment would do that yahoo good. I read that a two game suspension that has been mentioned as possible punishment for Metcalf will mess with his guaranteed salary not only this year but whatever length the contract has left. So, how stupid was he to even talk to that nutbar?

  36. going jones to sankey is a lateral move, certainly not one worth losing sleep over or spending money on. We have a good group of bigger wils who can actually run/cover ground, and play inside gaps. The only LBers in free agency I would look at is allen, and mcmanis. Who are the top tier of value at wil/mac.

  37. No more JT on the d-line, no more Hogan running the entire offence, it’s a beautiful day! 😁

  38. The DL coach was Patterson last year. He either retired or was forced to retire. Jake is now the DL coach. To me, Jake as DL coach is like Mike miller becoming a coach immediately afterwards also and last year he was our best coordinator in my opinion so there’s some hope there. Sounds like Jake is well liked and respected throughout the league, regardless of talent or lack off, he was a fine rotational piece tho but regardless of that 13 years of pro football = wealth of knowledge. Just cuz Jake wasn’t athletic enough doesn’t mean he doesn’t know things. I think he’s gonna turn out to be a very good coach for us. I get that feeling. Hogan? After listening to the O’Shea audio, I feel like he’s back because someone else was supposed to be OC but said no so they hired in house and O’Shea feels bad he set hogan up to fail. “First and foremost, it starts with me and making sure I’m holding everybody accountable to a higher standard. We just didn’t play up to our standard last year, especially on offence. It’s pretty easy to say that.” “There were certain things that were out of character for us last year that we need to come in this year and fix. I don’t think that, as you alluded to, making a change or a couple changes doesn’t fix everything. Everybody’s got to come in with a commitment to getting back to playing football the right way, playing good football and resetting the culture and that starts with me.” -Mike O’Shea The audio is interesting. Osh taking accountability for sure. If ppl haven’t listened they should and while you get the jets Chevy talk with Osh a bit, he definitely takes the blame and heat for everything last year. No specifics cuz resetting the culture means keeping things in house but I’m not sure I’ve heard a more humble O’Shea than I did in that audio.

Missouri saved a lot of money. Travelled through both KC's on a bus a decade back. KC, KS felt like an industrial park.

  40. I’m just hoping JT is given a great dline to work with. Why not have that high expectation. Time to define our identity starting in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

  41. I really don't see a lot to complain about with these hires, but hey maybe I'm just not raging hard enough. Hogan was very good as the RB coach - good enough to draw praise from players and get the OC promotion. It didn't work out. He's back in a role that he previously excelled at. Seems fine to me. I am sure Osh assessed whether it would be awkward or difficult for Hogan to have a demotion. Jake Thomas had a lengthy career and most of it was due to his hard work and effort. This was not a man with God-given talent. Those players have to work and perfect their craft to succeed, especially to stick around a while. I could see him being good in this role. Maybe he won't be, who knows. I look forward to hearing about the DL coach after every loss next year.

  43. Think everything we need to know about Hogan came from Lapo on a broadcast when he said something along the lines of "that's a whiskey bottle play call.... because if it doesn't work everyone in the stands is going to throw a whiskey bottle at you"
