Too soon?  Too many truly painful Grey Cup losses have taken the sting out of yesterday's loss already.

Time to look forward while we cope with the recent disappointment.

Man, he’s been whiny lately.

I wish he would have kept his promise to stop tweeting about the CFL.

I assume the lack of a Hamilton games and a chance to play BLM and his new team is what has him upset.  Well boohoo.  We didn't get a home coming game for Harris last season, so I guess the league hates us too, using his logic.

Everyone in a hurry to drop Rose, I told ya all he'd be starting unless he wanted an absurd amount of money. 

Surprised Rose is back - but I'm not unhappy with it. He's not what he use to be, but veterans in the room are obviously important to have.

I'm giving Rose the benefit of the doubt.  Our secondary was a bit of a revolving door last season and he may have been trying to do too much.   You factor in that he was hurt and never quite himself .. it's no wonder his play fell off. 

Late in the year you started to see him round into form.  By that point, the backfield had settled down and he was likely healthier than he'd been at any point prior - again, just giving him the benefit of the doubt based on his previous level of play and how he flashed at times last season.

That said, I expect competition and expect he'll be pushed to prove he's our solution our there.

We didn't have a coverage capable safety for most of the year last year. Rose's play became exponentially better after Alexander came back and that should surprise no one as without safety help life on the boundary can be real tough.

Thought Rose would a cap victim but solid addition.

Would love to see Demski back soon.

Baumming tweeted speculation that Jeffcoat will be back since he's on the promos for the 2023 schedule.

Rose, besides having the benefit of Alexander back, was playing with a 'lower body injury' ...(how vague can you get)....Seems he was playing with a broken bone in his foot...I think we see the ol' Rose back once he's a 100 percent...Glad he reupped

Demski was on some of the promo material as well, so by Baumming's logic, he'll be back too.

Lawler coming back to Winnipeg might be one of the worst kept secrets out there. At the time he was going to be traded it sure did sound like an extension was part of that trade. Seems the two sides may not have set that contract aside.
