9 catches on 21 passes, 95 yards no tds 5 games. I dont suspect he is highly paid but I feel we'd be better served giving some one like thompkins a look, or bringing back denmark, heck bring in backari grant and start an extra NI. 

Bowman is a guy you need to involve and target a lot to get any thing out of and even then we all know his struggles with his hands.

Better than outright releasing him. This is a win without a doubt. We don’t have to pay him and we don’t have to play him.

I would have preferred they never signed him in the first place but this seems like a reasonable resolution.  Rely on the scouts to fill the position and bring on the competition.

I'd assume Washington gets first crack at it...He looked good in the slot and coming across the middle and up through the flats.

I bet in Bowmans first game he gets between 6-8 catches for 100+ yards too

If they insert Lankford...I will puke and if I was one of Tompkins and Washington I would actually ask for my release cause of that...we know what Lankford is as a receiver and it's bottom teir

MTL does not have any picks HIGHER then an 8th after the Johnny Football trade.

Or do we go with 3 Canadian receivers?  Demski, Wolitarski and then a combo of Petterman and Simonice?

doubt that...and really no reason for it

Honestly we'd be just as good if not better if we starting another Canadian receiver.   Perhaps the team looks at starting Simonise and adding Flanders to there roster once he's healthy.

Man I never even thought of the possibility of Lankford but you might be onto something...I am also sick to my stomach thinking about him playing

Sounds like it’s cap related. I really wanna see what Kenbrell Thompkins can do.

I would have figured we'd at least come away with Montreal's 2024 first rounder.  But, good for Bowman to get a fresh start and Im sure there's a financial reason for the Bombers too.

His was in a role that required making the catches available to you in a low volume position.   Somebody like Petermann could likely do a better job in that role as a Canadian.

I guess all of us guys who said that Bowman wasn't producing were right.  Glad we were able to salvage something for this failed project.  Time to see what the next man up can do - the shoes aren't that big to fill.
