Bombers' Redemption Day - Game Day Thread: Alouettes

Tonight, we're going to find out everything we need to know about our beloved Blue.

Is Streveler the real thing? Does he have a supporting cast? Can the defensive 7 consistently sack an old beat up quarterback like Drew Willey?

There will be a million questions asked and answered tonight!!!

Goossen nailing Muamba after the cheap shot deserves at least a happy honker award.

Play calling was very good execution was also very good

the scary thing is they continued to improve as did streveler. And it looks to only continue.

Give this kid more reps and experience and I see our future Qb, hope he plays this well against the better teams because lets face it the Als are atrocious.

Here I was expecting a tightly contested affair with the Bombers squeaking out a victory by 3-4 points..something like 20-17.  Strev does indeed appear to be the real deal.  Nothing but sheer domination by the Bombers on both sides of the ball from beginning to end.:1310_thumbsup_tone1:

The guy also has his head on right,  the post game interview he was very humble and said the right things.

The Als though holy **** they are in trouble....  will they even win a game this season?

How do you take him out if in six weeks he is averaging these kinda numbers though ?.......

Lol dude I get that we want to be excited. However let’s see how it progresses in 6 weeks. Nichols is our guy. He’s earned it let’s let him get beat before we start even thinking about that

I agree.  That's why I posted it in a question.......how do you take a guy out that is exceeding expectations and doing his job at an extremely high level...with numbers to prove it ?........it's a great season so far.

Man sure sucks losing to Edmonton now. Thinking we could have been 2-0 going into Hamilton would have been something else

It will be easier in games to put him in tho now if Nichols is struggling...still small sample size but you can see he obviously has the stuff...he is for real

I understand everyone is on a high here with the win but....when did a football team last win with Drew Willy as their starting QB?
