Sorry but I don't like the total silence coming out of Bomberville, but that's just me; I like action and news  like all of you.  Yes we've extended a contract or two and we are distributing the year-end money before the 2018 salary cap  comes in.

But what are the deep thinkers in our organization planning to do?

 I hope they are not thinking status quo; that never seems to work out well. Unless we are dedicated to making sharp improvements here and there, I believe we atrophy from last year.  

After the 2017 NFL cuts were made did we bring in any linebackers for a sniff? I saw other prospects up here but maybe I missed something.

We have got to fix what's broken and I think somehow management must know more than we do ... we are good prognosticators with our comments on this site but I would like management to show us up. 

We are not hearing a lot of news out of the Calgary and Edmonton football clubs so maybe our Blue Bombers are an elite club now (as we join those two in their silence). 

But man I hate twiddling my thumbs as I wait to see what our local gurus are going to do. No news is bad news, say the bored ...  Well at least were not coming off seasons like Ottawa Hamilton and Montréal had.

So maybe I should be grateful for our club and its management.

Although I was originally giddy at the chance to sign him, there may be better options out there. Since it seems as thought we're set on the ratio, we may not need him (for big dollars).

Agreed - Denmark is a class act.

I hope Denmark ends up on our team in some capacity at some point. Smart player like that seems like he'd be made for coaching.

Not a big fan of this guy, he is more about himself than the team and what I saw of him in the bomber uniform I wasn't impressed, then again  I'm not a player just a fan

In terms of his time with the Bombers. He was an elite MLB. I'm not sure what else you could want.

Yeah, what was to like about him when he was in a Bomber uniform.

I don't get people criticizing the way that Henoc has conducted himself since he left the Bombers.  He went down to the NFL and had some success, making some money along the way.  When that looked to have run its course, he has worked hard to maximize his earnings and look after his future and that of his family.  He has not been willing to give anyone a hometown discount or "take one for the team" and renegotiate his contract.  Instead, he realizes that he has a lot more value this year than he will next year.  Therefore, he is not afraid to take his chances with free agency.  In other words, he has done exactly what teams do.  Teams have no trouble cutting a player the minute they determine that he no longer is worth the salary they are paying him with no regard to the years that the player outplayed the value of the contract he was under at the time.

When he plays, I have never heard anyone ever hint that he was anything but a hard working, hard hitting player who will sacrifice his body for the team.  In other words, a good team player who treats business as business. 

The only possible question you could have about Henoc is what kind of CFL "game shape" he's in since he's come back from the NFL. He definitely hasn't looked as consistently good since he came back, but what he did before he went down was extraordinary for sure.

Yeah, you gotta grade the 2013 Bomber team on a pretty steep curve, but Henoc was a super legit bright spot there.

C'mon cut the guy some slack... nobody looks good playing in green and white.

i think the longer this goes , the better chance he is coming back to wpg, just my gut feeling

I am thinking we're only a couple weeks away from his agent going to a newspaper with complaints about how CFL GMS are all conspiring to lowball his client and how unfair it is. 

Muamba's options are very limited. I cannot see him going to BC which has little apparent chance of the playoffs and if he goes to Montreal, he is stupid.  Ottawa might be an option but they also are rebuilding.
