If you want to be safe and know the guy will be around for a long time I would get Hurl.

Sam Hurl or Ryan Lankford. 

I have a rule about not wearing the jersey of anybody who's younger than me. It has to be somebody I cheered for as a kid on a retro jersey.

Nichols (can never go wrong with the starting QB), Harris (heart and soul of the team), Denmark (seems to be a fan favourite and with good cause), Leggett or Randle (two top defenders), or Heath (the next top defender, IMO).

I currently have a Harris home jersey. I think my next will be a Leggett away jersey.

I bought an old-school royal blue jersey at Value Village with number ".08" on it.

 

Oh, I forgot to say, get Chung's number, it will be hilarious!

No stupid gimmicks on the back? I don't know...the guy on T.V. the other day at the game with "Riders Suck" on the back of his jersey looked pretty hilarious!! That will never go out of style!
