3 sacks on glenn, a TON of pressure 1.6 yards per carry for marshall. Id say its safe to say our DL has been turned around.

3 sacks and they gave him all day the very next play....we need to be better to beat teams like Cal. and Esks.

Lapo and his questionable play calling was at it again. It seemed like it was either a long, slow developing pass play or nothing. No rhythm at all. Then you watch Glenn and its 8-12 yard quick hitters eating up yards, getting in a rhythm, and churning out 1st downs. Then late in the game when you need to milk the clock you call a slow developing pass play and take a 9 yard sack?? Brutal. So friggin' lucky we won that game. Could have just as easily lost.

Great win in a nasty opposing barn.

Roc Carmichael burned for 2 scores.

We could use a return man.

D gave up 40 points.

We will have to improve hugely if we want to stay in the game vs Stamps next week.

Stamps D havent looked so good. Bombers could have hit 55 plus if they showed up b4 3 minutes left in the first half.

what?  glenn was running for his life for the entire 2nd half... the first half he was dumping the ball off as quick as possible...

Wasn't impressed with our ends.  Poor discipline.  They took dumb penalties and kept taking inside routes to the pocket giving Glenn way too easy lanes to escape and make plays.  Need to let the interior and blitzers do their work, stay wide and collapse the pocket.  Brutal game from the ends IMO.  Sask's whole offence was Glenn getting out of the pocket to escape pressure, time after time.

Ill just say.. Our D is soft. Fix it. Lapo needs to go 4 the kill instead of playing conservative. Bombers obviously feeling the effects of not playing week 1.

Bad teams find ways to lose even when the refs do their best to help them.. The non fumble and unneccesary roughness on the Goose were jokes

I wouldn't put the non fumble on the refs... they called it right on the field, it was the C'mon Centre that screwed that one up... is that 3 for 3 on those calls so far this year?

Agreed that the unneccesary roughness was a marginal call at best.

Overall though, I actually thought the reffing was decent tonight.

Roc Carmichael may not get a second CFL game, Dressler had a couple of nice series, the d line was good and bad all at the same time, some interesting penalties, league needs to do something about the stupid challenge by Jones, maybe a penalty for delay of game for losing the challenge and another penalty for being a dummy:lol:

Didn't like our coverage on either of those.  Not sure if Wild F'd up on the 2nd one but we had no one in the middle, Carmichael in man playing outside shade taking the outside route with Wild over top a step to the outside playing a cover 2 type safety.  Receiver takes a stride inside and he's all alone.  Someone completely F'd that up or it was a bad call by Hall.  Wouldn't blame Carmichael necessarily.

Our D plays so soft that i find it hard to blame a rookie when everyone got beat at times.

Concerning from last season the lack of bodies in the middle of the field at times downfield.  Like the Roosevelt TD.  Makes it way too easy.  Shorter more direct throws obviously easier to place.  Force QB's to make longer throws against the sideline.  If you're going to leave gaps anywhere, make it toward the sideline.

Agreed, both Nichols and LaPo need to be smarter.  Late 3rd Q is not the time to mount consecutive 2 and outs because they're looking for home-runs on broken coverage and getting sacked in the process giving up field position.  Go for first downs, use Harris and wear down the clock.  They let Sask. back in the game when they had control and should have put them away.
