I'd rather not mess with an oline that played so well. Rather keep my oline intact and lose a back up defensive player who mainly plays teams.

Here’s what I don’t like: OL is 70 snaps a game and literally the heartbeat of your team, protecting the most precious assets of your team and creating your ability to score points. Special teams…I’ll never discount the importance…but 15 plays a game and really we have the bodies to have a solid unit without Ayers. Nuts to me to change the OL from last week. They dominated that game and Vanterpool specifically. Peterson had almost no yards after contact and ran for 130. BO had another 50. That’s the kind of decision that could easily lose you a game.

Tony Jones is a damned ok linebacker. Other Jones has way more upside.

I honestly don’t understand Weitz over Bailey at all, I don’t understand how that makes any level of sense

I see Tony Jones has become one of the new whipping boys for some reason. I know we had prime Bighill here for many years but Tony Jones is a damn good linebacker.

I wonder if Jonathan Toews will be ready to suit up this week

Bailey is good on teams...Weitz is also just a teams player and that's it...and isn't elite at it...so why bother Bailey has legit defensive reps ability and we only have 2 true ends dressed...no depth there at all but we have 11 linebackers...

If he is it’s probably marginal. But Bailey would actually offer something on defense… To a thin D line. Not a fan of that decision.

I like Vanterpool but I’m curious to see how Wallace does. Like having Cooley on. Weitz on over Bailey (or even Cobb) makes no sense to me.

I want to say second half of 2nd game he got a decent bit of burn and was really effective. Back to back pressures one with power one with speed that really impressed.

Jones is one of the best run stop lbers, but well below par for pass d. Kyrie is shot. Jones isn’t close to the heap pile guys. He’s just sub optimal. Best case is probably tj plays run downs comes off in most pass downs unless it’s short distance. Jjones is better straight up. &nbsp It’s just strange to get jjones and be married to tjones.

The only thing that makes sense to me is that Bailey isn't 100 percent (maybe a nagging injury from TC. He was hurt at one point) and they are being cautious with him.

Lebrun said there was a ton of interest when it was first announced that Toews was serious (haha) about coming back.

Really like Cooley coming on to take some of the pressure off of Peterson and to give BC a different look. Thunder and Lightning

Nah that's a pull through. The DB is completely out of the play, no idea where the ball is, grabs the arm and pulls himself back level with the receiver. That's one of the most blatant PI's you'll see. Good penalty to take though because they prevented the TD which would have been scored without the PI. Not sure why Kilam felt he had to burn his challenge on it though.

Yeah...its not hard to navigate it...every other team does Its Osh trying to make his point as he was one of the only people against the rule..didnt want it....doesn't like it...so doesn't use it to prove his disdain..and not to the betterment of his team...he needs to park his bias Pretty sure big Kev is good to go...Maybe punter guy is gonna sit in lieu of Bailey...if it's for the Weitz...then again...stupid stupid roster move again...prob another coach's favorite play..we have enough LB's and that particular one offers nothing...and can't take defensive reps...hope this not the case

Likely counting an arm right at the line on the TD run. To me if he had a crease he hit it, if there was muck he got a couple yards. Which is fine…but he’s the type of back that really needs the OL to move bodies. So if we’re rolling with him for some games here, keep that OL together. Pass protection was also flawless. To me this is an unnecessary risk. I hope Wallace is great, but we’re down to Eli too if someone goes down and he has never shown well playing anywhere but tight end.

Don't know if Wallace's contract is up this year, but keeping him a Bomber for the next 5 years is critical to the future success of the O-line, more so than any current player IMO. Might have to push Neufeld or Stan out the door next off season if they want to keep Wallace, Randolph and Vanterpool as the next generation.

yeah he was NCAA trained....and like ytou said...D-line once they rralize the 1 yard off rule can be dropped right in without issue... victim of the Osh rostering/bias...Our best all around LB and one who can lay a thump...Gets parked behind a old breading down vet who cant be relied on for 18 games...another journeyman guy who has holes in his game Pretty much the explanation there...release him and he is in any teams starting lineup the following week so imagine what Jones would have looked like....He heads and shoulders better than both.....but ...................................

I don't get it either. Maybe Bailey is taking a bit of time to understand where he needs to be and what he needs to do and doesn't have their trust yet? He is fresh out of school.

He was a menace on teams blowing people up...I sure he will Like to see him back on kickoffs with Vaval Just more of the same osh man rush crap that makes zero sense. Sure it may not kill us...but it again takez away the ability to roster our best roster...and eliminate any valuable experience to our actual guys who can play and then when really needed they arent green and prone to errors...like we have seen the refusal to play them as I sure part of reason because they not 100 percent comfortable with them so we play a positional group with zero depth...or injured guys who are useless...and we all have seen the results of that thinking when it mattered most

I believe they benched Maruo for free lancing on teams when we were running some really bad cover schemes. I liked him better too. I mean, he’s a cfl sts caliber end of the roster guy. Weitz is tcf. Yeah I’m pretty torn on being bummed that vanterpool is out but excited that Wallace gets the start. This is a big test for hogan early. Let’s see how he used an offensive di, and a bench guy whose a threat. No sense to be made of it. It’s just some mos town stuff.

Collaros hands it off to Brady for 13 yards and then inexplicably Prukop comes in and yeets it into double coverage... well kind of double coverage, for some reason there were two Bombers within 3 yards of each other 40 yards downfield so there were two defenders there also.

Yes he was. His job as an interior DT is 90% disrupt the play, 10% get the QB if you can. He was pushing the pocket back every snap.

Not happy with the Oline change. I like Wallace but why change your oline when it played well. Weitz on the roster makes no sense. I like Cooley being on. Agree on Mitchell over Sterns.

He is not good. Dude makes it worse by holding onto the ball too long and when he feels pressure he moves out of the pocket instead of stepping into it, he’s always going to take a lot of sacks unless he learns to get rid of the ball faster and becomes more comfortable under pressure.

Assume Cooley comes on since Brady and Logan are out. Should be Ayers off in that case but I could see a WTF. Leroux on for Benson. I'd like to see Cooley for Ayers and Bailey for Brady.
