Injury Report, Lineup Changes, Roster Moves

Frequently, especially when I'm busy, I like to separate fact from opinion. What makes this site so enjoyable is the opinions and disagreements that we find from our members. However sometimes I just am not interested in opinion. I want to know what's changing for our next game. New injuries, recovering from past injuries, possible replacements and other moves the coaches might make is all that really matters to me sometimes.

I do not know what we all like best but the most important thing for me is the injury report and personnel changes. I am mainly interested in the Bombers but I don't mind hearing about what's happening around the league. So here goes: as a start.

"Attention now turns to Demski's injury, this O can't afford to lose anyone let alone him for considerable time"

"I don’t think it’ll be too serious. He was walking on it no boot or any thing. Worst case I would think a high ankle sprain that takes a couple weeks. "

So if Demski is out for the next game how do we change our lineup?

One of my chief interests is how Brandon Alexander is coming along. Has anybody seen him out on the practice field in the last week or so?

Did anyone notice if any of our other starters besides Demski got a little nicked up on Friday night?

Now I realize some of this is conjecture but we do have some excellent sleuths on this site, people who can see what MOS and the gang don't want to say. I would just like to know sooner than when we publish the game day roster.

Great add.  Like an extra draft pick.  Get him in camp before he goes to college to become draft eligible, finally use our territorial exemption. I was coaching in the U16 tryouts/Blue and Gold g

As a BTW: I have been watching Lawson the past few games, and he is getting better each game. Probably not going to make us forget about Dougie, but he has been solid with a good future here.

Grant made the sideline pass to a standing still receiver into an actually successful play... Normally those got us negative yard

Nice bubble screen with two lead blocks.

Definitely well blocked but Grant's acceleration got him past the first tackler after the catch...  It feels like almost every other time we've tried that play the lead tackler snuffed it.

Best thing is Lawson is still only 23, Jake's a grizzled old man at 31.

He has been very good indeed. He’s shown incredible flashes of collapsing the pocket and blowing up plays solo. Tremendous move by the mafia.

31 going on 73. 160 games played over 10 seasons at just 31. It’s a real testimony to his preparedness and work ethic. I remember at one point he didn’t have a contract going into camp and it seemed like he might be passed by. But quickly was a corner stone mos type guy and never been in doubt since.

My favourite part was when he signed late in the off-season… in his initial conversation with reporters he said he was exhausting all his nfl opportunities before coming back to the bombers… he seems like a guy that everyone loves… afaic as long as he’s a productive player… he’ll have a place on our team

Jake's not every down DT - but who really is anymore?

I believe at one time someone claimed that he signs so late to allow the team flexibility to do what they need too. If there is a little extra, he gets it.

True… productive doesn’t necessarily mean every down player… hopefully Jake has a few more good years in him and allows Lawson (and the next new rookie) to carry the torch once he’s gone

Better clip, with the pick.

How about the announcers completely ignoring the play as it's happening? Unreal interception.

Wait, I was told stuff like that never happens in the NFL with their pro broadcasts, only on the bush league TSN. Was that a Suitor overdub?

No one told you that.

But that doesn’t match his narrative… you must be mistaken. 😉

Any ideas if we may be getting pieces back after the bye week? Read the BA article, sounds like he's still got a little ways but isn't too far,Couture?

No word, yet. I'm curious about who we will see at practice next week.

I believe BAs presence around the team has given us a false sense of his recovery timeline. If memory serves, when he was injured, they expectation was that he would return in fall. I've had October in my head the whole time.

I’m actually expecting us to be down a guy or two. Sometimes it seems like these BYE weeks come and guys realize that they have been ignoring/playing through more serious stuff.

So, If we come back the same as we left I’d be happy.

I'd be happy with Thompson back at safety, wonder if Agudosi comes back around BAs time but I have no clue how bad his leg injury was.

I'm a little doubtful we ever see Agudosi again.

Sounded like a season ender to me and do we bring him back for a third attempt?

As long as he passes the physical I don't see why they wouldn't.

I dont' think we will ever see Agudosi again. From the sound of the tweet he made after he was injured when he says he will always remember the fans.  Dosen't sound like something you would say if you plan on returning. Maybe it was his knee-jerk reaction reaction to getting injured after finally getting a chance to start.  If the injury is really serious, maybe he has decided to move on from football
