Semi-Finals - Sunday, November 28th

It's Semi-Final Week.

Eastern Semi-Final - Montreal @ Hamilton - Sunday, November 28th, Noon (Central).

Long range weather: High of 1, feels like -3. Wind 16, gusting to 24.

Western Semi-Final - Calgary @ Saskatchewan - Sunday, November 28th, 3:30pm (Central)

Long ranger weather: High of 1, feels like -3. Wind 16, gusting to 24.  (Oddly, the same as Hamilton, even the wind)

Should be an exciting weekend.

  • **** them and **** Dickenson.  Honestly not sure which team I dislike more right now. I don't care who gets here from the "Someone Technically Has to Win Bowl". It will be satisfying to

Dickenson should have gone to Maier in the second half, feel like that move lets Calgary win.

To be fair that game was played in black and white.

As decreed by Michael Jackson...

I watched the 1st half of the WSF....it was so brutal I walked away.

Now that was a football game. As a Rider fan I would have loved to see them win 60-0 and not have the heart attack at the end. But as a football fan as well I truly appreciate the great game that these two teams put on, and the right team won. Best CFL game of the season hands down

It was a great game! A great game If you are a Bomber knowing one of these teams eventually has to come play you.

These threads are more entertaining than the game was.

I was thoroughly entertained by that game. Both teams looked like complete and utter garbage which is the best we can hope for.

Just skimming this thread to catch up. Glad I wasn't the only one  who thought Suitor was downright brutal. I already had really low expectations for him, but the last few weeks of him have been the worst I've known in his career.

He's rarely insightful and continually presents as a homer. There's no wit or intelligence that comes from him. As Norm MacDonald would say after insulting someone"nah nah, he's a good guy"

WTH is this?

“I’ve got all the trust in the world that 'Money' Lauther is going make a play for us," said Fajardo.

Damn it Fajina, keep those words outta your filthy mouth! Medlock is "Money"! Loser Lauther...

You know with Suitor... The more I learn about that guy, the more I don't care for him.

I'd say that the big winners of Semi-Final Sunday were Winnipeg and Toronto.

Both teams probably get their preferred opponents. And all 4 of the Semifinalists looked bad on the day.

TBH I wouldn’t have seen Montreal beating the Argos either. No one in the east has the lines to beat them in the playoffs.

Me either, but on their day, Montreal has a RB and a QB who can wake up and raise their games and hurt you.

Ticats have less of that fear factor, more holes and have been shaky of late.

There's still 60 minutes of football to play and "Anything can happen in the CFL", but not many would argue that these aren't favorable matchups for our respective teams.

I don't think either 1st seed will have any excuses if they can't do the business.

Didn't he miss an easy one in the third quarter? Monopoly Money.

The game recaps on cfl.ca - make them look a lot more exciting than they were.

Tried to watch the "highlights" on tsn. They litterly showed 2 plays for the east final. 2 plays of regulation time for the west and a couple of ot games.

Whats up with that? Very annoying

There really wasn’t much that was “highlight” worthy.

Yeah I understand that but its the playoffs, show a few more plays of the game

I guess they didn’t want to show any of the 6 interceptions lol. But I know what you are saying.

Fun games to watch, but some really bad mistake filled football. Are we that good or is it just that most teams are really bad this year or is it a bit of both?

Embarrassingly bad for the CFL- the worst semi-final performances I can recall- the Stamps-Riders game was so bad, I turned it off at half-time and tried to watch it this morning- still as bad. Cringingly bad.
