I am jumping up and down right now getting pumped that we will get to murder SSK for our first playoff win.  Oh yes we will, our shutout against them a few weeks ago was just a warmup.

With Collaros presumably unable to play, and the fact that he sucks anyway, Bighill and company are ready to come drop the bombs on Bridge, Tate and whoever else dares line up behind center.

 

Also, show no mercy if you see Rider Trolls around here this week.  Raid down fire on The Bandit's head and let him have it.

No 17 to 85 your wrong. Its the apathy in the larger markets that is the plague. They bleed Green while we bleed Blue. If all the fans were as passionate for the teams like ours..this league would stand proud like it deserves to do..no where else to players still play for something rather than the all mighty buck. I hope it lasts for the younger ones to enjoy like i have.

No I have a lot more respect for CFL fans in southern ontario than I do for Rider fans. It's actually hard to be a fan there so the ones that are fans, those are the true die hards. Rider fans are just annoying band wagon jumpers. Ever notice how there are probably 80000 fans who were there all through the dark times in Saskatchewan? Annoying as **** and they strut around like they're god's gift to the CFL and TSN panders to them so ridiculously much. It's by far the worst thing about the CFL.

But if you take that away from Rider fans, what do they have left? Not much.

Great fans such as that shouldn't need to have telethons and phony share sales to save their butts and their team in years where they haven't won...two times now.

I guess it's just the 25 and under generation that are the majority of the bandwagon jumping fans who have seen a couple championships and have no clue about how futile their franchise has been and what a laughing stock it was for a good majority of it's 100 year existence...

to be fair though, who the hell wants to play in Regina?  Had to be pretty tough to recruit players for a lot of those years where they sucked so bad.

i can't see why a player would want to go there now too...makes sense that sooo many are in the news for off-field legal stuff there over the years..

I'd rather the league have Bomber and Eskimos fans. We aren't an embarrassment like Rider fans.  Edmonton fans support their club and do so without bringing shame to the football community

 

Looking forward to sunday. As long as we come out strong, regardless of result I will be happy. If we toss up some turnovers early I will be drunk pretty quick and miserable.

I look at it this way.... if 17to85 went to the game this weekend, and brought the same attitude vocally in their barn, he'd probably get his ass kicked.  It's okay to joke, but when you're at the game, whether you like it or not, there's a certain level of respect you need to give your opponent.   You can win or lose with class, and that's what makes this rivalry for the most part, a friendly one.   I plan on having a great time at the game, but I'm not going to be swearing and undermining Rider fans.  We're all fans of the same game, we just cheer for different teams!
