Flashback to my favorite post on Durant:

Always been a fan of keyhole-pass DL-overpowering Durant, but how much of that guy is left now?  Hope last year's struggles were due to a crap team and not due to him losing his stuff.

The feeling towards the Bombers roster gets better and better, back up qb position 100 % better than last year.

Hes better than The Fever and thats all that matters plus very famillar with Lapo.

Tells me that one of the rooks is gonna be 3 so he can learn behind 2 vets. 

Well Davis is still under contract.... 

Now I'm very comfortable with our stable.

I had a feeling this was going to happen. 

I love this signing. It’ll be nice to have a veteran backup for sure.

You can pretty much wipe your ass with CFL contracts tho.. Aka they can be flushed anytime. 

I'm very happy with this move. You want to be in a situation where you're fully confident in your backup qb so you don't feel pressured to play a taped together Nichols out of desperation. I have confidence in Durant playing under Lapo with his all time favorite target in the receiving core. My only disappointment is we likely will have to go with a cheap 3rd string QB as a result. I really liked the work that Dan LeFevour did in short yardage last season.   It's likely only a matter of time before Dom Davis is released. Feel bad for the guy but you know... it's a business.

It's even better that we've got a backup who's arguably still a starter in this league.

Like it. Interested to see contract details, so I know how much to like it.

Reasonable base salary with incentives if he starts 

I’m please with this.  Having a vet backup is very reassuring.    I hope we only see him when blowing out opponents, but history would say otherwise.

Imagine what would happen if we beat the Riders in the play offs with Durant starting and Dressler having a monster game....  would be awesome.

I like it as we needed an experienced backup QB.

Now if Durant comes in during the LDC and throws a TD pass to Dressler in the 4th to add to our already comfortable lead, that would just be a cherry on top of the sundae.
