Does anybody else suspect that Dinwiddie is going through a lot of personal issues and should take time off to deal with them?

Not really complicated. Apparently Miller came down from the stands and ordered O'Shea to bench Willy in favour of Nichols or else. That ought to have been enough to question O'Shea's continued coaching.

Willy wasn't hurt in 2016, at least not publicly. He was pulled in the Calgary game after throwing a pick six, Nichols started the next game, and the rest is history. The pick six is at 2:55 in this video, and Nichols is on the field next drive.

I don't know why you are defending our scouts and GM's work. It's been awful. Does MOS have flaws as a coach...absolutely....does he have the talent he needs right now...nope. People suggesting that our recruitment and GM work are good are simply doing so with an agenda, because it clearly hasn't been and it is a big part of the problem we are facing right now too. No one is excusing MOS when they say we lack talent. It's not a contest of Walters vs Osh. Both men and their respective departments need to get better....a lot better.

I don't but into this at all. We've seen numerous examples of guys going in too early and re-injuring themselves immediately. Doctors must give the warnings but players have been allowed to ignore them. And regardless of re-injury risk, if the coach looks at a player who is unable to practice and is clearly going to be a detriment to the team on the field, he has the responsibility to sit that player - regardless of what they've done for the team. But that's not O'Shea. I agree there should be some changes, but I don't expect to hear about them this week. We'll see what happens next week.

O'Shea's track record for ruining players is lengthy enough that I am amazed that he wasn't canned for that alone.He has had multiple other reasons to have been fired, let alone re-upped to three more years.

Dominic Picard's shotgun snaps in 2015 were soooo bad. Slow and inaccurate, the QB always had to take care to secure them before looking downfield. It kind of made me doubt whether the Canadian quota was a good idea, seeing such a football skills deficiency.

we would run Grant into the middle and traffic...dumb from get go yup...full motion along the line of scrimmage...get him ball off edge with one guy there...or even us in jet motion sweep to pull coverage and see who is manned up for that..Vets like Demski..White should easily see this post snap and know exactly where to go to find the open space

Usage really is everything. You put those guys on or past the edge with a 1 on 1 with a DB and let them cook. Even if they don't break it, its less wear then returning is.

He is a very talented football mind, but I don't think he's a leader or capable of developing guys. He seems like the kind of coach who works in a perfect vacuum. Yep, that is always a mistake. Im not even a fan of a HC being a primary CO.

Dinwiddie is trying to do way too much. GM + Head Coach + Offensive Coordinator. Then on top of that giving the Defensive Coordinator notes, which the Head Coach would be want to do but you can only have so many fingers in so many pies.

That’s hilarious. That was the first year I had season tickets. Well, my parents had season tickets plus 1. But yeah, Randall was actually put in a game and had an arm but couldn’t hit a barn door from 10 Yards away. That’s hilarious cuz that season was a disaster but it was so fun being at the games, the blue out also. The ticat boat incident happened then. All QBs we dressed played the one game. Memorable for reasons for me plus we sat by Mike Kelly’s Winnipeg girlfriend and got to meet MK who was actually extremely friendly polite and respectful, the opposite of how he came across. No bs. Somewhere in a binder in my basement I got autographs from bomber legends lefors Dudley guice Jr and Mike Kelly. lol. Among others. I still don’t think MK was gonna be fired until his arrest then it was obvious. Without the arrest I think he was coming back. That whole group tho, Kelly as coach. Murphy as bird dog really, just awful people in reality. If MK kept KG, he probably wouldn’t have been let go either cuz then there’s no real controversy when you win. Plus Murphy and Kelly found some talent. I’d almost argue more than KW has in his tenure. KW more of a sign free agents guy. Not lots of non free agents. Murphy better scout than McManus is what I’m saying despite Murphy being a slimeball creep.

I know i will get flack on here for this but Drew Willy. He had that one year with a magical 5-1 start (2014) and always thought he could of been something behind better o-line play. He was never the same after his knee injury and played scared after we shipped him off to TO for TJ Heath and a bag of bolts.

He did that exact thing you are saying he can't do with us already. Of course, you need talent, EVERY coach who ever coached does. MOS is fantastic at rebuilding. It's maintaining where he and Walters both suck. MOS inherited a team in shambles and completely devoid of talent when he got here. He built a locker room that went on to win 2 GCs and appeared in 5 straight. To suggest he can't successfully navigate a rebuild is just re-writing history. He is EXACTLY the right coach for a rebuild.
