  1. This kinda started out as an erotic description.

  2. I don't know what more Scheifele could do to make this team. It's insane to me especially when you see who made th team ahead of him. Embarrassing.

  3. the quickest most fluid hips ever. He’s got elite closing and cod speed. Hes slight in build and lacks the physicality though. He couldn’t play bump n run on the corner, or cover TEs inside. He could play in a limited nickel cover role. He would struggle in run D though. That said, the steelers have leaned heavily on cover 4 with the Safety’s stacked tight. So Holm, would actually fit their system reasonably well. Id also add it’s useful to have guys like holm on the practice squad to help coach up new guys and run scout team D. It’s probably just a flyer work out for a guy with the raw tools and history of being solid up here.

  5. What are your guys's thoughts? I'm still pissed that they snubbed Schiefele again!!!

  6. holms biggest issue in all that would be drills vs nfl wrs. Even though he wouldn’t be asked to run bump n cover, he’d have to spend a lot of time early in camp just doing 1on1s. and his lack of physicality would be exposed and look even worse than normal. Nfl wrs get off is every thing. They are used to very tight spaces too. Holm is used to space, longer slower throws, and not getting tosses if he’s fairly close. If he could adapt to sticking tighter to wrs then using that burst for knock downs he’d be able to cover up his lack of physicality. He doesn’t need to win at the line with his jump.

  7. Taylor, he was an even more ridiculous athlete than holm. We do really like athletic outliers at db under jy. Db is our fastest and biggest collection of athletes every year. The couple of former nfl guys we had in camp this year were crazy too, and 6’ plus. I’ll also throw in woodbey as the single greatest athletic outlier on the team today. He has excellent run/jump tools to the point he could cover any spot on the field. but he’s also 6’2 235 with the strength and physicality to excel at wil/mac in the cfl. If biggie had his measurables he never would’ve played a down in the CFL. This kid 100% should be playing S or sam in the nfl. I love watching him cover area and wrs like a db, then just monster guys physically when the ball is in play. He ate ol and big blockers lunch on a ton of plays in the run game last year. S, Sam, Wil, Mac, Dhb, you could play him at most positions. He could probably pass rush from the edge in a pinch if you needed. Not just an athlete either, that guy is a tough ass football player. I’ve got very high expectations for him this coming year.

  9. I could see Holm at least getting through a training camp and likely a season on a practice roster.

  10. Happy New Year to all of you. May 2026 bring a Blue Bombers Grey Cup victory and a dismal season for the Saskatchewan RoughRiders.

  12. hell, I am blind to most of the subtleties of football and even I can see that Holm is a ludicrous athlete. Can't think of another Bomber DB past or present with his maneuverability. Holm to me is kind of like "what if Charles Roberts grew a couple of inches and played DB?" Good luck to him with his shot. Rod Black had Sticky -- MBB has Holm. (mods feel free to delete this terrible post)

  13. 2025 was a slog for me you guys, and not just as a Bomber fan. But I'm looking forward to 2026. May the new orbit bring you all good fortune.

  16. Yikes. Who takes the lions share of blame here? Players, coaches, GM? Or all share equal blame? Are they throwing in the white towel on the season? So many questions very few answers. Oh right to buffer our frustration, we are feel fortunate we have a NHL team, bring down any high expectations we have of this team while continuing to hand over our money on swag and such. I forgot. Happy New Year!

  18. And it's been said over and over again that Jake is one of the smartest guys in the room, especially the Xs and Os... Just because he can't do the thing at the same level anymore doesn't mean he can't teach things. I have high hopes for him... Starting at a lower level assistant coach position is perfect.

  21. People underrating holm. He’d fit in with what Pittsburgh does quite well. Personally I think he’s our best option at safety.

  22. Bédard not being chosen maybe due to his health makes sense but 55 who is a first line dominator in the best league in the world makes me think someone’s personal opinion is trumping logic.

  23. I’ll say this. Colorado wasn’t awful then they were one year and won MacKinnon. McKenna and any of the top 3 4 5 talent this draft improves our team instantly. There’s the silver lining. McKenna would be franchise changing. id like to see us move on from Pearson Nyquist schenn miller and even Toews but I’m not sure what we getting in return for any of them. I mean. None are returning 1sts id move them for what I can get, maybe Nino and names available also but ya bring up the kids and maybe make a trade involving lambert for a nhl forward if possible lambert has sucked tho

  24. I just don’t get the logic. Marchand Stone Horvat and Wilson is just insane. I remember when we took the best players and dominated. Now they building lines and having roles for lesser talented slow players. 55 and Bédard not making it is just it’s stupidity. Point makes some sense. Cirelli don’t.

  25. yeah, the 2024-2025 Jets turning out to be a mirage was a giant bummer.

  26. No one is giving up that I see, maybe the fair weather fans, but I think it’s a reasonable expectation that our team has high expectations every year and using this year as an example, if things aren’t working, what’s happening to correct the situation?

    Around the NHL 2025-26

If 1 bad year means fans give up on the team then we don’t deserve a team here.

  28. Now that 55 has been snubbed again by Hockey Canada watch out, he’ll be out to show everyone how wrong they were. Unfortunately it won’t make a difference as we’ve already seen this season 😢. The Jets won’t make the playoffs, and it might not be a bad thing 👍🏻

  30. Dolphins also worked out DE De’Shaan Dixon. He spent 2 weeks on the Bombers' practice roster and is under contract for next year.

  32. It was terrible play by the Lions' DTs in that game. The middle was wide open on almost every play. LBs / DBs were making all the tackles. Khan, Labatte & Co. were absolute road graders out there.

  33. He also shadowed for a full yr and was a coach in training his last yr when he was on IR all yr..and also is one of the best ever ST players and was called a coach on field when he was playing JT...none of the above...and was our worst DL now for yrs...arguably in entire league...big difference...huge So who thinks 180k for 2026..185k 2027...some guaranteed in 2027...and all hard money is good value for Kramdi...or money well spent that could have gone eleswhere? Perfect example of how to throw your sms right out the window and sacrifice talent u actually could use elsewhere...christ...good job

  34. If on field talent and athleticism was the be all for coaching and football operations positions....sorry to spoil the party but Wade should then be terrible............ Honestly who cares how the guy played, he is reported to know the in and outs very well, he has been on the PA and everything that has ever come out, he is incredibly well respected by teammates opposing players and those involved with the PA, he became his own manager, he clearly has respect and known intelligence within the CFL circles.....who the heck cares if he had a great swim move, or the fastest get-off, or had speed to play off the edge...that doesn't mean he didn't witness it over a almost a decade and a half year professional career......c'mon, really because he "bulrushes" well, do some of you really think, like honestly that, that is all can teach......really.....

  35. Who was Milts WR coach? For people who really have a hard time understanding how important position coaches experience is...who was Milts WR coach and how did he get Milt to do all the things he did? Who was Charlies RB coach? He must have been able to cut like him right? It goes on and on. This idea (that I'm pretty sure only Tracker holds on to) that if a player couldn't do something, that automatically = he can't teach it, is just incorrect. It's been proven as much at all levels of the game. How many times did Dinwiddie throw for 4000 yards in a season?

  36. What is crazy is that Yvensen Bernard also had 112 yards rushing in that game!

  37. I was at that Fred Reid game! He had another TD but it was called back. He got hurt and only sat out two plays - typical terrible coaching. Fred came back in and promptly reeled off a big run for a TD, Wally threw the challenge flag and yup, he had not sat out three plays so no TD. In Saskatchewan "bums in seats" is a double entendre....
