Legit ridiculous we did this AGAIN where we trot a guy out there with an injury when we’ve been burned by it so many ******* times at what point is this just no longer “loyalty”? when does it become “negligence”?

Why the heck would you sit Adams and Woods and play Kornelson? This is the coaching staff being locked into we must use Canadians at DTs. Plus 9 Canadian starters is brutal when we lack the talent to do so.

The way they handled the situation with Schoen is a black mark on the whole franchise. Rushing him back for the start of this season, then rushing him back after a month with a known (second-time) torn ACL is inexcusable. Someone needs to legit lose their job for that.

Poor guy. Loved Schoen and what he brought to this team in terms of toughness and talent - it was was a great combination. Back to back ACL tears though ... that's going to be tough to come back from as a receiver (if he does at all). I can't believe this organization trotted him out there again.

Havent seen it mentioned else where, but appearently Schoen has blown out the same ACL again. Same one he re injured, and then tried to play through in the LDC. Guy was clearly not even close to ready all year. Yet we've kept trying to hammer him back into the roster. And now, we've very, very likely ruined him and his career. Clearly, the guy will play through any level of pain and try to help his team out. The staff, and especially Mos have failed to protect him as a player, and the teams investment in him. It's a series of unforgiveable, unconscionable mistakes. They just ruined a generational talent, and who knows what his quality of life will end up like down the road.

Sitting both Woods and Adams is absolutely stupid. There’s no good argument for it.

I loved this era of blue bomber football, I appreciate all the good memories in the past decade but I really think it’s time to clean house this off season. I want a head coach who cares about player safety, not someone who thinks it’s heroic to play injured, it’s cost us a lot of big games, and now potentially Schoens career.

Kornelson was deemed expendable already... so naturally he gets on the roster when Adams who has made an impact this season sits, a d woods who started last season on a better defense than this sits.... it's ******* criminal.

Mikawos was a good one. Watching vintage games with him as a NT, that dude could move a center around. Glad he got that 84 grey cup TD on his resume.

Bottom line, oshea has lost the edge he had prior. Too much complacency with this team coach included.

JMO, I personally think Schoen is done for his career. Two ACL tears in the same knee (I think) and getting near 30. I supported his signing and he was OK health wise until the Calgary game. Bringing him back for the LDC gave us the worst possible outcome.

If Jake went up, we would have to put about 100 other guys up. Tyrone jones announced just this year, no guy like jake is ever getting to the ring. Nuef isn't going to get a shot, and he would be far more worthy. Zach, wj, bryant and if brady keeps it up for a few more years he goes up.

I'm no doctor or anything like that, but if he tore it playing Calgary, why in the world would they put him out there even if he is wearing a brace. Kind like putting Zach out when his throwing hand is bleeding.

Feel terrible for Schoen and whoever made the call to play him with that injury should feel terrible as well. Schoen's career shouldn't be the only down the drain - that's inexcusable.

I'd rather keep Cobb on than corc. he has good hand's but not a lot else, where as cobb can fill in and do a lot more in a pinch. I wonder if Mitchell will take part of the return duties with logan off. WR core could be decent, if we use mitchell and wheatfall actually has a game. I'd like to see one of those 2 sat if they struggle though. hate the DL. 100%. IIRC, Makonzo has been practicing for a while. Shay and Smith are extremely high upside Nis that need reps. We are over extending at DL, if we ran an imp dt again we wouldn't be. bailey at DE gives us the ability to create ratio flex with de. Wr isn't real thin for NI, cobb is on the pr and shouldn't be imo. Peterson is an excellent back up ni rb, Ol is thin with injuries. Eli/wallace as back ups with vanterpool back is actually pretty good ni depth. Imo, the problem is our use of canadians. We over use some guys who shouldn't be on the AR, and under use younger better players. Then we also over extend our ratio flexibility by taking off the wrong imps.

Canadian DT Mikawos deserves to be in way before Jake is even ever considered....and he wont be...ever....Thankfully Osh doesnt run the Committee that decides that

At minimum... so many guys way more deserving than Jake. I wouldn't even put him in the WFC HOF which is way less exclusive than the ROH.

Even if we win it doesn't change the fact that the defensive line they're messing is bullshit and the roster usage is sub par. They've won a lot last few years and people still complain they do it on hard mode with the roster usage.

What is the point of bringing in Houston and the extra eyes because of his situation (yes he was cleared by the authorities but the CFL ruled he DID violate the violence against women policy) and have him sit on the PR? Especially with Vaval as the main returner because Logan can't get right while also playing 50+ snaps on defense. What is the point of having Woods and Adams on the PR when you are going to cut the one DT in the league who is worse than JT and bring him back when someone who couldn't crack the opening week roster got 6-gamed?

generally I think we should win most games....just cant confidently say that ....part of it is I think we will be outmatched on the coaching/scheme side of things once again

then a guy like Gauthier outta go up too then...played forever but has actually had impactful play over his career and instances where if not for him...we'd have been toast Jake should never get on for hanging around 5 yrs past usefuness...and even during his usefulness...never piled up the stats and was a game changing player by any means

There's tons of ways to get a proper DL on. Ayers as mentioned before can comenoff, vanterpool can stay off... and those are the easy moves.

What's going thru the mind of a guy like Jake? Does he recognize how much he's dropped off? Does he sense he's more a hinderance than a help? Does he allow himself to doubt that assessment because the coaches continue to have faith in him? Expecting him to ask to be sat in favour of someone else is obviously not in the psyche of a professional athlete...but do you think he ever feels a measure of guilt or shame knowing someone else could do a better job for the team? Having never been a pro football player I can't put myself in his shoes.
