Zach had played well this season when coming back froM injury (at least for a half). Dru looks great off the bench. The solution is easy. Zach starts, plays the first half, gets hurt. Dru comes on in

  • start of 4 in a row.....

Playoffs clinched. Horvath doesn't tie or break Milt's record. Good night overall.

reliever? Collaros was unplayable level pathetic.

Then Brown went 9/9 for 150+

Make our quarterbacking make sense

Zach is done, Brown + company can succeed with a running game and some o-line protection.

Next season Zach cannot be our starter, he should be a veteran backup for a team making 1/3 of his salary.

You're happy with collaros over brown tonight?

Brown was great off the bench tonight. Unfortunately he’s mostly stunk this season with the exception of a couple of good halves.

I don’t love either one of them for next week but I assume if Collaros is physically able to get the stadium that he will play.

I don't usually feel good seeing an injury happen but watching Nathan Cherry in tears being helped off the field after pancaking Zach Collaros... Karma's a *****. BC deserved everything that happened to them. Buck probably killed any momentum his team may have had going into the playoffs with his zany personnel decisions The Bombers destroyed the Lions in the fourth quarter.

Clean pocket. He got absolutely pummeled by Calgary’s d-line

The OL is Job 1, the most important upgrade that needs to happen this off season.

Zach was terrible last night,

Brown looked unreal coming off the bench....again...

Makes me think, when Condell doesn't have time to gameplan with Brown he looks outta this world coming in unexpected off the bench....when Condell has all week to game plan with him, he looks terrible......not saying.....but it's a pattern maybe a reason it's a pattern....

Maybe......

Just watched the highlights. I don't understand how anyone can see the results as anything short of an indictment of Mike O'Shea. 3 minutes left in the third and up until that point Zach wasn't just off, he was absolutely horrid. The coaches didn't think to try anything to turn things around. Not "give Dru a couple series". Not "oh **** maybe we should have some Strev-ilke packages in for our MVP running QB". Not "perhaps a trick play?". Nothing.

Our coach was content to ride it out and lose in embarrassing fashion until he got saved by an injury.

We're in the playoffs thanks to Brown, Singer and half of the BC team that got the night off.

And Brady, but you are 100% right.

The D only starting playing tough when the game was already well in hand.

The rampant celebrating of minor plays that don't score or even stop drives was awful as well. Half the vets played like James wilder JR. Run for 5 yards on 2nd and 9, get up flex and jaw while walking off the field.

Calgarys DL is an absolute monster. But you still need to find ways to win the game with every position group.

Maybe some 2qb system stuff too. Like Edmonton did with Maas and Ray until Ray was able to perform at the same level for entire games.

Zach's first drive is almost always his best. Somewhere between the 2nd drive and about halfway through the 2nd Q the wheels fall off.

Dont get me wrong, that is as much Condell as any thing, but its almost as much Zach as condell. Zach showed he could still get it done and played the best we've seen in 3 ish years. With a pretty bad OL and wr group at times.

That would be a coaching issue.

Act like you’ve done this before.

He is so stubborn when it comes to a select few players a lot of times putting them ahead of the team. I get it, they’ve earned their stripes but a coach is paid to make difficult decisions.

So overall... You know it's win to make the playoffs or lose and you are done for the year.... And THAT is how they come out of the gate? ******* embarrassing and the most damning indictment of the coaching they've had this season.

Demski is cooked. He's not a top guy anymore he's just a depth piece, which is fine, but we're not using him like that.

We need more guys who play like Brady. That guy has more give a damn than half the team.

Singer might be showing he's better than Cobb of Corcoran, good thing he was allowed to grow on the practise roster......

Why is our defense allergic to having guys in the 1- 10 yards from the LOS?

Way too many soft as baby **** players on this team.

Bottom line, we need to use both qbs and react when a guy is having a bad night and make no mistake, collaros was having a bad night.

MOS has shown over and over and over again he will not bring ZC off if things are not working for an extended period unless it’s a serious injury or short yardage. Period. It’s admirable for loyalty but F’ing frustrating from a team and strategy perspective.

This may be recency bias on my part but I’d start Brown next week. I can understand starting Zach because Brown has been streaky but if Brown is “on” he gives us the best chance to win. The problem is I don’t know which QB will show up. I think if Zach is healthy, MOS starts him.

I will not gain a wink of sleep until after our next game, that much is sure.

Yep, many of the same vets here as back when we had a strong culture of discipline, and those guys are also some of the worst offenders.

Collaros has been streaky too, the bulk of the teams problems are systemic, but we're terrible at recognizing when a qb just doesn't have it going this season and yanking them.
