Schoen, Cobb, Houston ON Sterns, Weitz, Mitchell OFF So a healthy Wheatfall and Clercius...Iffy Demski....Just back from an injury he shouldn't have been playing with already Schoen and Corcoran and Cobb?...good good what a flop and failure that group is if that the case Id say hopefully since we basically are relegated to it see Schoen for Mitchell....Echols for Sterns, Bailey for Weitz, Cobb for Thomas, Makonzo for Kramdi...Woods for Ayers..Houston for Lawson Edited yesterday at 03:44 PM by Booch rebusrankin and Piggy 1 2

I'd take Mitchell over Cobb or Corcoran. Schoen for Sterns, Cobb for Weitz, Houston for Lawson seems better to me. Piggy 1 and Booch 1 1
Atomic Posted yesterday at 03:46 PM Report Posted yesterday at 03:46 PM Yeah you're both right but I still think they're going to do what I said rebusrankin 1

The study on NFL players is anyone coming off ACL isn't close to previous production until 3 years later. Reinjury rate also crazy high (for everything hip down) and most pro football players don't make it to 3 years post ACL. So yeah, I don't expect him to be anything like he was his first couple years and he'll have to keep working to adapt his game to the reality of where his body is. 21 minutes ago, rebusrankin said: So if you take Mitchell off, you're going Schoen/Demski/Wheatfall/Clercius/Corcoran at WR with Cobb as the back up? I get that Mitchell is better than those Canadians, but also kind of a red herring because it's picking whether to dress a borderline useless American or borderline useless Canadian. Mitchell is like a grenade they forgot to install the charge in. We pulled the pin and there was no explosion. johnzo and rebusrankin 1 1

Houston coming on will probably mean Lawson gets bumped to PR. Edited yesterday at 04:27 PM by Blue In BC

If the three-year recovery is accurate for Shoen, then we should not be expecting great things this season and by the time the three year period is over, he will not be a spring chicken any more. As far as Mitchell is concerned, IMO he has shown very little in either catches or ability to separate himself from defenders, so it ought not be too hard to find a better replacement. He may yet have a breakout game, but right now he looks like a bust. We got troubles in River City.
JuranBoldenRules Posted yesterday at 06:11 PM Report Posted yesterday at 06:11 PM However we want to characterize Makonzo's role as a key player in historically bad Chris Jones D...the guy hasn't suited up for a football game in 22 months. He's not going to play more than 35-40 snaps in a whole game including special teams. Goalie 1

17to85 Posted yesterday at 09:46 PM Report Posted yesterday at 09:46 PM Kramdi hasn't practiced all week and is only questionable... yahuh... sure thing. Got a feeling demski gonna miss too. rebusrankin and Tracker 2

Tracker Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago I think that the Rider O-line is average on their best days and vulnerable. Combine that with a brittle, possibly wounded Trevor Harris and that ought to mean that a vigorous Bomber rush will sideline Harris by halftime. If so, and Collaros plays as well as last game, we have a shot at deflating the Riders in their own playpen. rebusrankin 1
17to85 Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago Collaros always has a big old bag of **** yous for the riders. Noeller 1

I watched their game against Montreal - they were literally pushing them around. I think our pass rush 'can' be vigorous, but many downs it is not. But...any given Sunday!
Atomic Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Woodbey joins the fray at Adams' expense. Officially going all-Canadian on the DL interior. rebusrankin 1
Goalie Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago (edited) I couldn’t imagine being Adams right now or any player seeing Adams out and Jake still on the roster. Must be really demoralizing. Bombers watched the film of Sask vs Calgary and said let’s not do what works. Just mind boggling stuff. 40 linebackers and 6 won’t get a defensive rep and Jake Thomas gonna be getting 80 percent of the reps on the DL. What could go wrong here. Atomic Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago I'm surprised Houston didn't get on TBURGESS, Goalie, Tracker and 3 others 3 3
Goalie Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Yes. Houston shocks me. I also really don’t like Lawson Jake and schmek as the DTs. If Lawson goes down, good lord all mighty.
MrFreakzilla Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago (edited) A lineup with Lawson Jr and Mitchell is not a good lineup. Houston or El Dandy/Moore or Echols. I wouldn't care who they put in. We do have a history of signing players mid season and not playing them, so I'm not surprised. Edited 7 hours ago by MrFreakzilla

Booch Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Like the Woodbey addition...but should been at expense of another of the LB/DB's....Houton should also get his shot over the balckhole of crap we have used so far...I sure he more than ready Adams off is pointless...dumb and leaves us with just 4 legit dline guys now...like wtf?....Osh is just a moron Schoen i on fence with...is he gonna be just useless like he was before we effed him up rushing him in?....Corcoran already is....Mitchel not sure what going on there but looks lost and useless too...Demski...who knos if he even lasts.....wht a scrub lineup all around for one the most important games of yr so far I hope we run a lot of WJ/Vaughters/Person fronts...some 4 man with lawson and use woodbey a lot....we use a lot of scmeck and Thomas...lord help us Horrible lineup any way you look at it Edited 7 hours ago by Booch JohnnyAbonny, Tracker, blue85gold and 3 others 3 3
Noeller Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Woof... You know I don't like the dogpiling about the DL, but Lawson, Schmeck and Jake as the only true DTs..... Jesus Christ. Make it make sense... blue85gold, bigg jay, Stickem and 1 other 1 3
