Preseason doesn't count, when the real bullets are flying hes been a liability. too slow , taking penalties, and hasn't shown good hands  3 strikes and ...

He’s a rookie we drafted this past year. 2025 draft. That would be silly since he’s not an Alford type talent. Dude prob needs development time. I mean. He does. So him having to play is on our poor depth. Corcoran looked solid in pre season, he should be getting part time reps, but shouldn’t be asked to start.  That’s crazy talk. He’s like Shay and smith on D, should be getting rotational reps. Should be. Maybe old Joey is a reminder that rookies do actually need time to develop and shouldn’t always be thrown to the wolves. But old Joey definitely a reminder that message boards are insane cuz lots of us complain about lack of reps for the rookies then we complain when 1 of them does get reps so really… does any of this matter lol.

Shay and Smith were high draft picks with better pedigrees and measurables. Corcoran is a late round flyer, with a so so pedigree and fairly poor measurables for a receiver (4.8 40 time and a 27 inch vertical, for example).

yeah nothing about him screams successful long career....not sure the allure there to be honest for that pick,,,,havnt looked at draft results but I sure there was something more useful at that point in draft, tho in those rounds generally most are just a hope and dream pick and many never amount to spit

Lauther out for personal reasons ... while there's another kicker in camp looking to take his job.  Hmm.

No mention of Harris there either.

I think someone on Riderfans mentioned that Lauthers wife is imminently expecting. Maybe something to do with that

Personal reasons = removing a truckload of manure from his driveway.

well, best wishes for a smooth birth and a healthy baby and mom who can be a consolation to Lauther when he shits the bed in the LDC.

Makonzo on for Kramdi...and play so you cant take him off...I can see it happening

I'm not sure what Kramdi's injury status was from last week. I expected him to be on the AR this week. That said, I thought there was a good chance that Makonzo would also be added. Earlier we added Cobb from the PR and I'm not sure why they did that. Possibly that was in case Demski couldn't play this week.

We added Weitz last week in lieu of a Canadian and I predicted that Cobb would potentially be added to replace the 2nd global player. Now I think Makonzo might be that player and Cobb gets bumped back to PR. This is contingent on Demski not being moved to 1 game IR, otherwise we might need Canadian receiver depth.  If Kramdi is out, then Cobb might be the only other Canadian choice if we have to add 2 Canadians!!

I expect Houston to play this week with the expectation that Lawson is moved probably to PR but possibly to 1 game IR. My thought is that PR is more likely.

I'm feeling good that we will see the return of Schoen this week to replace Sterns who was moved to the 1 game IR.

I picked Riders mostly based on our injury situation. Having said that, I can absolutely see a world where Brady and the OL go off again. And Collaros always carries a giant bag of **** You's to hand out when he plays the Gappers...
