Yeah both guys in the booth were like "Ah, yeah, ah i just dont see a penalty there". Just a horseshit call. Like WTF did you see to throw a flag on that?!?! Honorable mention to the jackass line ref that must have forgotten about forward progress and marked Demksi like 3 yards short on his crucial 2nd down conversion. Thank god the command center called bullshit on that one and corrected it.

Bombers run game 153 yards.

😀

for me, Dave Dickensen is by far the most annoying person in the CFL.

is there an app that will recognize his whiney angry face and make the screen go dark?

need that app. I will pay cash money.

we have mr calm cool and collected M O'Shea.

Calgary’s defense is hot garbage. For how close it’s been we’ve been able to move the ball with will all three games we’ve played against them. In particular our running game. That’s two games against them now where we’ve had over a 150 rushing yards.

Anyways it’s nice to see us sweep Calgary, playing them three times in the first eleven weeks is tough but thankfully we came through when it mattered. I knew Maier was going to give us trouble I thought he was the real deal last year. He was very poised in the pocket last night and has the arm strength to make those side line throws, but ultimately we got it done when it mattered. Getting three first downs to end the game was sweet, the offence couldn’t be stopped all game and we were able to run out the clock.

missed watching the game tonight so I'm just catching up on the cfl.ca highlights.

holy smokes that McCrae TD catch.  Landed right in his lap as the Calgary guy was PI'ing him.  a lucky strike or a ludicrously good throw?

Seems like Collaros gets lucky a lot, on those deep shots.

When a QB places a ball right in the receivers bread basket without him even adjusting to the ball, in full stride, it is not luck at all.  At least not luck on the QB. Luck might be assigned to the receiver that his natural instinct was to feel the ball hit him in the bread basket and to wrap his arm around it as he was being interfered with. The throw though, no luck at all, pure skill.

If anything it seems like this year a lot of his deep shots are coming up short. Not sure why.

Yeah Maier just looks so poised and his reads and passing are spot on. Im sold.

I'd like to see reserve judgement for a few more games on Maier. All I saw last night was dink and dunk by him for the most part. Eventually the DCs around the league will scheme that away and we will see what he's got. He looks like he should be the real deal though, but I have not seen every throw from him yet.

He has more pressure in his face. He’s not able to always plant his feet and throw, the ball tends to hang out in the air a little more when it’s all arm and there’s a defender coming down on you.

yea that RTP call was horrid...and could of cost us as it gave them 10 extra yards of field position and got that punt single from it when all was said and done....Willie made contact with the ball and QB as he was throwing....and both hands hit him on back of left shoulder as he came doen from leaping to knock pass down....no infraction there at all in any interpretation of rule book...thankfully tho we didnt have to listen to Suitor babble on how you need to be in total control of your body when it is physically impossible...or are thrown into a QB like when Thomas got called for it on another bs call that Suitor tried to justify

hey....at least he isnt tossing up a Faj....hahaha.....and every deep shot isnt in stride....lot of factors are in play on any given shot....and a lot of times too...the plan is to push the defender down field...and then let up...

That call on roughing the qb. was just unadulterated bullshit...It wasn't even remotely roughing BUT beyond that why the hell didn't O'Shea challenge that obvious boner by the refs.....Jeebus that could have cost us big time but in the end talent prevailed over bulldung...but c'mon Mike get that bloody challenge flag to hell out of your pocket...I was just fuming about that lack of challenge

Maier would be a Lapo wet dream.....and dink and dunk...and hoping for perfect blocking and tac don't win Cups...not sustainable, or the best approach....sure you will get sexy stats...but points win games....and when it mattered...18 yards in 4th quarter was telling...plus if we didnt royally eff up and give away a chance for at minimum 10 points...this game would never have been in question in the 4th

Calgary needs to run the ball more as many of us here have said before. That said, Maier has been making throws when needed the last game and a half and is not missing some or throwing up ducks as BLM was. Offense is better with him in.

100 percent better...BLM shouldnt step back on the filed now unless injury.....and I sure he will pout

This was NOT a good deep ball game by Collaros - Even the first deep shot to McCrae for the TD was underthrown.  The underthrown balls also weren't underthrown because he couldn't step into the throws.... just plain underthrown

The pics in the endzone were a downer ....14 pts. down the pooper.....BUT in fairness the same guy who made the pics also blew coverage on 2 of our other tds......

On the second one, there should have been an incidental contact PI. It was clear there was contact and two of the refs were right there.

Don't blame the refs, they were mostly on our side.

The RTP was called the way it has been for the last couple of years. Hit the QB in the head or shoulders, get a penalty. It doesn't matter if he made contact with the ball. That's a punting rule. It doesn't matter if he was in the air. That isn't in the rule book. What matters is that he hit the QB in the shoulders. The Refs got that one right IMO.

They got the quick whistle wrong tho. That gave us the ball back and 3 points we didn't deserve. As we won by 2, it was one of the most important plays of the game.

I agree with Matty. The Refs also got the illegal block on the 3rd down wrong. It was a game changing, chintzy call on a 3rd down. Instead of first down Calgary, we got the ball back to drain the clock.

That being said, what a great game. Back and forth. Lots of lead changes. Two good teams battling to the last minute. What more can a fan ask for?
