I can't believe that there's still so many people in this league with a hatchet, just waiting to kill the golden goose.....C'mon guys (on both sides) give us some CFL football

If the players don't strike, the CFL will have to lock them out. They can't risk players striking the day before opening day or risk that threat.

I think you vastly overestimate the profitability of the CFL. 

Neither side could really afford to strike but here we go. Both sides acting like it has leverage. Let’s be honest they both need each other and this has been nothing short of a disaster so far. 

So, I wanted to post this from DT because I'm pretty vocal about my support for all things "Canada", especially when it comes to the CFL. I know we're not all on the same page with this, but I thought it was a really good tweet thread from DT, and because not everyone is on Twitter, I wanted to share it here...

 

I'm going to stay off twitter for the rest of the day due to the south shooting stuff (it took over my afternoon/evening yesterday) so if anyone sees an update about the CBA please post it here!

Interested to hear the leagues business pitch and revenue growth seen from having 1-3 extra American players on the field at a time.

This whole thing is ridiculous.  There’s basically nothing wrong with the ratio the way it has been aside from potentially discouraging teams from developing Canadian QB’s.  Not sure why this is the fight the BOG wants to take all the way to risk a season.

I saw he got hurt but I wasn't certain what the injury was or whether or not it had been posted here. 

Really too bad for him and the RedBlacks.
