2019-20 CFL Offseason

For some teams, the CFL Offseason is here. Rather than lose all the coaching movement discussions to the Regular season thread, I thought we could start putting it here.

Those teams currently lost in the wilderness:

Ottawa

Toronto

BC

Montreal

Calgary

Edmonton

Saskatchewan

Hamilton

The champs are here.. the champs are here... Winnipeg*

That oughta help put a few more butts in seats.

Derek - get out of Saskatchewan now, before it’s too late. You were way off base with your earlier power rankings and it hasn’t gotten any better if you’re seriously picking Saskatchewan to be the top team in the CFL Derek, run, run now, and never wear green again..

EARLIER...

AND NOW..

There’s more...

Guess that settles it...  Sask-Ham grey cup

SSK second ? Love to hear the rationale for that .

The Riders lose 2 starting NI OL and only add BUST JSJ, lose a starting DT, add a SAM candidate who didn't play last year and they're second? DT has about as credibility as The Beaverton.

Fajardo is elite, hosted the west final so clearly they're an elite team that retained everyone!

Taylor writes like hes under pressure to be positive. Its not like he'd be attacked repeatedly by scores of Rider fans on social media. Thats crazy talk

And next to zero depth across board..man he is losing his mind there..used to value his insights..not anymore

He doesnt want to rise in the morning with a truck load of dung in his lawn. Cant blame the guy. 😂

I see a competitive but kinda ordinary ish team in a division that doesnt reward that too often

The main difference being that The Beaverton knows it’s just for laughs... whereas everyone just laughs at Derek Taylor’s straight faced green nutlicking idiocy

Im going to tell you all something but you have to promise not to get mad...

Out with one biased mindless laughingstock melonhead dipshit(Pedersen), in with another biased mindless laughingstock melonhead dipshit(Taylor). Only thing Taylor is missing is a big potato headed mouth-breathing sack of monkeyshit ex "player" named Luc as a sidekick. Wait a minute...….

Sask might be #4.  BC has not added any impact players to a team that was pretty bad.  They are the worst team in the West and probably 7 or 8 with the Argos.

Riders will definitely need good fortune with the injury bug if they want to compete.   A few injuries and boy it may get ugly.

Obviously they need to start a national at reciever.. who the hell will it even be..they have no proven experienced ones..Lavoie? Oh please please be him haha

7 combined brain cells were combined forthis list

I actually really like the Franklin signing for Sask.  I think with a good QB coach in Maas (don't try to tell me Trestman is a good coach at this point, he hasn't developed a QB in a CFL lifetime) he has a real shot to dethrone Fajardo in the next couple seasons.  Fajardo takes a beating and will probably miss some games.

No sign of Calgary or Edmonton, but Sask ahead of the champs even though they've had no big upgrades this offseason.

Classic.

I was really looking forward to the season. But now that Sask is finishing first and taking the GC I dont want to watch it anymore.

Hey I’m perfect fine with Sask finishing first if the season ends the same way it did last year.

The Riders always win the GC. Except in November.

When they lose this year. They will have won a grey cup an average of once every 27.5 years.
