Training camp is over .... adjustments have been made  and its time for the opening kickoff

Anybody change their minds on how preseason changed their expectations for this year .... Montreal thrashing Ottawa changed mine .... cutting Willy raise my hopes for the Argos .... Edmonton looks stronger than I first thought and Regina even worse

For the first time in years I am forecasting Winnipeg finishes first in the league  .. just an optimistic hunch .... I forecast these final standings:

Winnipeg

Calgary

Vancouver

Edmonton

Ottawa

Montreal

Good move on the Esks part. Looks like Hamilton has thrown in the towel.

Must be bigger injury probs along the Eskimo D line than they are letting on. Worth a shot, but a 2nd round pick seems a bit steep for an aging vet who's definitely on the downside of a career.

I agree. A second is too much to give up for a guy who won't even play next year.  Hunt injury must be worse than they are letting on

Next man up just not cutting it anymore for Esks. Down to 8 players on practice roster. A move like this was made so that there might still be a cup shot. Without it their season might just go into the toilet. A second round pick is a crap shoot at times - see A Richards. Wouldn't be surprised to see them make a move for an established receiver if they don't start to get some bodies back shortly.

See the Esks. are preying on the wounded Cats...Chick still has game but sees a dead-end in Ham...I wonder if Ted Laurent might be available....Luv. to make a play for that guy but alas I don't think Austin is that nutz........or is he???

I don't think Laurent is good enough to displace any of our Canucks and definitely not worth what we'd have to pay for him.

Jones bought a case of these.  Of course, he thought "diversity is strength" was a reference to the defensive end position, and how many different types of players he should convert to that spot.

They were on a bye yes but if they were playing he still wouldn't have worn one. He would have worn his boring black golf shirt. He didn't even bother wearing the ones that were for Canada 150.

He didn't wear one in week 8, when he could have.

Jones may have been on a schedule bye but I don't believe he ever takes one from being a jerk, OK maybe Christmas and his wife's Birthday ...

Apparently Jones has not worn one because supplies were limited and the players were given all the shirts.  

He must have given a shirt to all the secret PR players too since it wasn't an issue for other teams.
